🤍I GOT “CLEANED UP” to
GO and TELL my “DIRTY” story.
🤍
Truth is - no matter how dirty we think and feel our story is, the blood of Jesus can clean it up.
🤍
We can come to him as we are and he will help us do the transformational work. We just first have to recognize that we ARE dirty and that we NEED cleaning up.
🤍
But if you are sitting and wondering and waiting if you have to get your act together first, that’s just the opposite of what it means to come to Jesus. He wants you right where you are. Dirt and all.
🤍
When you allow Jesus to come into your heart and clean up the dark spaces, the hard things you are holding on to soften and lighten with him.
🤍
I gave my testimony to a group of women. I’ve told it many times before. And it never ceases to amaze me how hard it can be to bring up the dirt, AND STILL be reminded of HOW GOOD GOD IS.
🤍
JESUS took this dirty heart and cleaned it up and he
CONTINUES to do so.
🤍
Our stories aren’t always clean or easy. They can certainly be difficult to share. My story has a lot of dirty, hard & ugly to it.
And it’s still not over. Yikes!!
🤍
BUT GOD!! can and will take our stories and make them something beautiful that he can use to help clean up the hearts of others. And yes!! even while he’s still cleaning up your dirty heart and mine too.
🤍
Your story is YOUR story, share it with Jesus. Let him work in you. Then, GO and TELL of the great things HE has done!
