Thank you @hiviscosity for this beautiful review of my exhibition Say Cheese at @sculpturecenter , which opened in May. So grateful to see the work through your eyes and to have the exhibition featured in @sculpture_magazine

For anyone who’d like to read it, the link is in my bio.

It’s been a season of grief and hardship, but it’s also been overflowing with love, support, dance, and FOOD. I am endlessly grateful to my family—both by birth and by choice—for helping me fill the spaces of time with joy rather than pain. This weekend I’m extending this nurturing 🍴as I’ll be cooking and braiding at your service!

Saturday 18th, Communal Braiding at @icp
Sunday 19th, Venezuelan Nostalgia Diner Style at @ffffooooooood
Monday 20th, Empanadas at @bong.nyc

more info coming soon, for now just enjoy this feed cleanse 💫 the world is fucked pero estamos aquí! make it worthwhile 💫

Excited to finally share about the @whitneymuseum Biennial 2026 catalog lovingly edited by @marcelacguerrero and @drewmsawyer which takes an interview collection format. This framing was really nice and gave me the chance to be interviewed by my friend, mentor, and former professor, Sharon Hayes (@purpleshazey). We spoke about the origins of Civic Views and the context during which it was publicly presented alongside my speculative closure works. These projects were also discussed in Drew’s curatorial essay foregrounding the vulnerability of organizations both as a challenge and as a resource for hope. Major shout out to @hiviscosity and @beatrizcifuentesl for the incredible feat of managing nearly 150 contributors to this huge volume smoothly and intrepidly.

*** Also, I learned the catalog is 50% if you buy directly from @yalebooks until the end of the month! In case if you were interested in buying but were discouraged by the price!
