Our House is a darkly comic thriller set in rural Northern Ireland.

When three estranged siblings reunite at their mother’s wake, they discover she has left the family home to all three of them, reigniting old tensions and rivalries. What begins as a bitter family dispute soon takes a dangerous turn as long-held resentments come to the surface, and it becomes clear that someone is prepared to kill for the house.

Starring: Michael Shea, Hannah McClean, Andy Doherty, Colin Connor, Kerri Quinn, Carol Moore & Paddy Jenkins.

“I really feel blessed to have had the cast that we did. I think our actors are some of the strongest emerging talent Ireland has to offer and I’m incredibly excited to work with all of them again in the future. It felt like our siblings (Michael Shea, Andy Doherty, and Hannah McClean) became family off-screen in a way that informed a lot of how their on-screen family should behave.”

– Peter Young, Writer/Director, on his on-screen talent.

"An inheritance battle that turns bitter, absurd, and eventually deadly."

Following up from our world premiere at the Galway Film Fleadh, my debut feature Our House is heading to Kerry International Film Festival on October 17th before coming back home to the Belfast Film Festival for a Gala screening on November 2nd. This will be the first time a lot of the team will get to see the finished film, and I'm really looking forward to it.

Thank you to both festivals for having us, and a massive thank you once again to our cast, crew, Paul at @villagefilmsco and the entire team at @northernirelandscreen for all of their support. It's so fulfilling to finally have this out there!

The BBC have announced a new six-part comedy starring Vittorio Angelone and Hannah McClean, which was originally developed as a short pilot episode.

Rewarding follows the messy lives of the support workers and their disabled and neurodivergent clients, and will feature disabled, neurodivergent and learning disabled talent in key roles and draws on lived experience to bring authenticity and nuance to its portrayal of social care.
