Some of the most meaningful parts of hospitality happen through the relationships we build within the industry. For Sam Euler, @shfmgmt has become an important part of that community. Now in his third year as a Rising Star, Sam is taking on an expanded leadership role this program year as Chair of the Rising Star Program and Young Professionals Liaison to the SHFM Board of Directors. In addition to serving on the IAB Board, Sam is helping bring this year’s National Conference to life as a Planning Committee Member and Co-Chair of the New Member & First-Time Attendee Reception. We’re excited to see Sam reconnect with familiar faces, welcome new ones, and represent @kinorausa, @hmgplus, @acquirehospitality, and @ahaexcellence at the SHFM National Conference in Chicago.

@mhubchicago brought the music, the food, the drinks, the people, and 800+ members of Chicago’s hardtech community. 🥂 HMG+ brought the hospitality. 💚 Our Chicago Service Professionals were right in the mix at the mHUB Community BBQ, serving guests alongside an incredible group of food & beverage teams, vendors, partners, and event pros. From the Chicken Wing Cook-Off and Robo Lounge @robotoaster to Makers Row @makecitychicago and everything in between, there was a lot happening, and even more people who made it happen. We were proud to support the evening as both an event staffing partner and sponsor. Thanks for having us, @mhubchicago ! #ChicagoEvents #EventStaffing #Hospitality

A lesson in hospitality, one pour at a time. 🍷 Katalina Martinez and Kenna Burkard recently attended The Art of Pairing with @nace_chicago, an evening dedicated to exploring the relationship between wine, food, and the guest experience. Hosted at @artifacteventschicago, the evening featured a guided tasting with sommelier John “JB” Belter, curated pairings from Beyond Catering & Events, and time with fellow professionals from Chicago’s hospitality and events community. Thank you to NACE Chicago, Artifact Events, Beyond Catering & Events, and everyone who brought the evening together. Cheers! 🥂 #NACEChicago #ChicagoEvents #Hospitality #LiveEvents #KinOra

Introducing The Hospitality Guild, a KinOra podcast. 🎙️ A new space for conversations with the people who shape hospitality, the stories behind their careers, and the experiences that stay with them along the way. We’re kicking things off with The Plus Side, a series featuring current and former @hmgplus service professionals and the stories that extend far beyond the events they’ve worked. Our first guest is Steve Morgan, a former service professional with Yipeee (now HMG+) and longtime member of @sncmusic In our first episode, From Canapés to A Cappella, Steve takes us back to the Yipeee days, sharing what it was like balancing hospitality work with Broadway and a growing music career, how Straight No Chaser became his full-time career, and plenty of memories from along the way. 🎬 Watch the first episode of The Hospitality Guild now on YouTube at the link in bio. Every event begins with a challenge. For this corporate gathering, the client wanted investors to feel connected to leadership throughout the program. The original ballroom layout placed the stage at the far end of the room, creating distance between the speakers and the audience. We rethought the environment from the center outward. A low stage moved into the middle of the ballroom so speakers were surrounded by their audience. The shift changed the rhythm of the room immediately. Conversations felt closer. Attention stayed focused. The environment supported the purpose of the gathering. Design elements extended the story of the brand. Tropical florals and greenery reflected the company’s Latin American roots while shaping natural transitions from registration into the ballroom. The result was a conference environment designed for engagement rather than observation. Strategy shapes the experience long before guests take their seats.
