Challenge accepted ♥️ I’ve spent the vast majority of my adult time surrounded by men. Mostly good, strong and supportive, but also plenty who only knew how to take. And I somehow allowed it. I 100% acknowledge how I’ve not spent enough quality time with other strong sisters, and that I haven’t always given the women who were around me their due respect. I think mostly because I wasn’t fully in touch with my own divine feminine self for one reason or another along the way. I’ve spent the last 6 years working to heal my own femininity, to remember my power and to honor those beauties who inspire and support me. Im honored to be chosen for this by some of the strongest women I’ve had the pleasure to know. THANK YOU for being YOU 💖 I love you all! 💖

RARITIES OF HUMAN NATURE - EP 6

Today we celebrate the folk! Including Deni Bonet, Robert Lloyd and a duet with Kelly Hogan; not to mention the only appearance of Three Legged Man on a CD, recorded eons ago in the Mean Fiddler Acoustic Room.

1. Ballad of Miss Fortune – Recorded 9/1/04, performed with Deni Bonet. This originally appeared on the Misfortune promotional CD that coincided with the publication of the novel.

2. The Golden Glove – recorded live at WYEP, Pittsburgh, with Robert Lloyd; this appeared on their CD “Live and Direct”, 1999.

3. Female Rambling Sailor – recorded at Mississippi Studios in Portland on The Love Hall Tryst tour, with Kelly Hogan and Brian Lohmann. Originally released on the CD “Mississippi Studios Live: Volume II”, 2005

4. Three Legged Man – “recorded completely live in the Mean Fiddler Acoustic Room during the summer of 1989”, and released on “…If you Just Tuned In…” a live Mean Fiddler compilation, released in 1990.

5. Lambkin - Recorded 9/1/04, performed with Deni Bonet. This originally appeared on the Misfortune promotional CD that coincided with the publication of the novel.

Today @bloodshotrecords released a compilation of rarities, b-sides, and never-before-released tracks from some of my favorite bands on the roster. Songs that we’ve wanted to see the full light of day for some time. This has been a labor of love I’ve been working on since April and I’m really happy to see it come out today. Please enjoy it on @bandcamp. These songs will make you smile, I promise.
