Into The Abyss Special Mix | Hohe (Live) @ Revier Südost Baergarten

Franconian-rooted, Berlin-based producer Hohe is one of the key curators behind the @instinktlab platform and its Sub-Label BLENDE HUB.

His personal sound, rooted in ambient & deep techno is defined by polished yet raw spheres, psychedelic themes, and densely textured mixes – spans from broken & deep techno to ambient and leftfield experiments within the 160/80bpm sphere, always remaining grounded in technoid foundations. Hohe’s main focus lies in studio production and performing his works live. His performances often occur within a personally cultivated network of the global underground electronic music scene.

About the mix:
The recording was part of a label showcase with the sub-label BLENDE HUB at an event from Catalyst Community curated in Revier Südost Baergarten in Berlin. It was the closing set on the stage, while many friends gathered for the performance at dusk and deep emotions were expressed throughout – a truly meaningful experience.

Hohe and FForm (fka Emkay) present their first collaboration for the home base. Having already spent significant time together in the studio, this EP offers a first glimpse into their shared interpretation of peak-time music - deeply shaped by personal experiences across various dance floors - reflected & translated through their own sonic tools.
For the remix, one of South Africa’s most intriguing contemporary techno figures, Deano, steps in. After several encounters in Cape Town and Berlin, and a continued exchange of musical perspectives, his contribution closes another personal circle in this release.

Hello everyone! Here is our selection of favourite releases from May. From Reptant’s Ballet Robotique to Moments — the deeply personal final work by Manuel Fogliata (fka Nuel) — the selection ranges across electro, ambient, dub, deep techno and genres that resist neat categorisation. From our perspective, what binds all these works is the producers’ will to express their own identity, without compromise. Enjoy!

For our yearly BLENDE Gathering at @giri.berlino , we invite 4 guests to contribute to our community and intention with the platform:

XIULAN @saraxiulan Shaped by Rome’s nocturnal listening culture, Xiulan weaves together intimate ambient atmospheres with analogue textures. Her work moves in dialogue with shifting pulses and blurred
percussions, blending memory with sonic exploration.

RIET @riet__cs , DJ from Brussels based in Berlin as part of @futurepast____ Collective. She has been shaped by the broad electronic music scenes in both cities. Her style blends minimalism, dreamy soundscapes with strange, abstract rawness.

ALTJIRA @altjiramara Altjira’s music unfolds through meticulous layering, balancing minimalism with psychedelic depth. Each sound is deliberately placed to reveal itself gradually. His album Flux Serpent on Mirror Zone embodies this philosophy.

@sm_04061 04061 & @hohe.audio HOHE The two Key Curators round up the day with their musical intentions.

VISCERAL INFUSIONS @visceralinfusions Visual identity shaped by Visceral Infusions | Photography Exhibition. The lens that defines this gathering’s visual language.
