how my 4th @playing__outside market went last weekend!!! captured by the talented @girasfilms 📹 so grateful to every single person who supported and came down, whether you’ve been following for years, or it was your first time, i appreciate you all and my soul is SO full 😭 thank you to @cornercornercanadawater for letting me host for the third time <3 we sold out of every single workshop AGAIN (over 100 seats) and hit over 5,000 ticket sales which is actually beyond surreal 🥹 and i have a SURPRISE i’m gonna do one last christmas market in december, opening applications tomorrow!!! 🤸🏽‍♀️🎄 #market #londonpopup #smallbrands #londonevents #workshops

Well that was a huge vibe PHWOARRR I’m not sure how @shaw.22 sold over 5000 tickets to her iconic market @playingoutside and not a single one of them wasn’t THE FRIENDLIEST AND MOST INTERESTING PERSON EVER. I’ve never laughed and smiled so much trading at a market before. Shoutout to @soniakangdesigns who was the best stall neighbour I could have asked for - we giggled all day (while we weren’t tending to our millions of lovely customers of course). I shared a new part of my brand story with a few of you which I’ve never shared before - our earrings are now made in partnership with the textile workshop at Downview Prison as a means of rehabilitation and paid work for the women there. I’m really proud of this next step for my business and am excited to share more about this in the coming weeks. You all responded really positively to me talking about it. As you can imagine it’s a sensitive subject to communicate and I want to get that right so am still figuring it out. HUGE thanks to @shaw.22 for creating such a special community of traders and customers with @playing__outside - here’s to the next one! sold over 5,000+ tickets including 600+ on the door 😭 the energy in the room was something hard to put into words. so so grateful for everyone who was part of helping make the space what it was - the 100 amazing artists and small brands selling their beautiful work and collections, to my amazing creative workshop hosts, to the 3 DJs, to my content team helping capture the day, to my boyfriend, friends and family who helped me set up the space and helped everything run smoothly to the thousands of people who showed up to support real craft it really meant the world and was actually an out of body experience 😭😭😭❤️ thank u sm to @shaimaa.ihsan to capturing this!! so much more content to come once i soak it in 🤸🏽‍♀️ #londonevents #londonpopup #londonmarkets

When I work with other business on producing accessories I don’t just sew I help work out scale and placement for pattern I spot any pattern design issues and can usually fix them before printing I work to get the most out of each meter of silk to keep your waste down I sample new sizes or products I create content every step of the way to support product launches To help you bring your designs to life From custom printed silk scrunchies for sports clubs to small batch accessory production to add to goodie bags, I love working on your pieces!
