A small confession: markets are always a bit tricky for me. The weather, the audience, and so many unknown factors all play a part in a day’s turnout. On a good market day, I feel so happy and seen, and on a slow day, I really doubt my life choices and my confidence gets a little bruised🙃

Holding Patterns is a surface pattern design studio that creates original patterns and prints for everyday textiles. It‘s a passion project by Elsa Chiao—a graphic designer who wants to bring colour and form back into taxtile, utilitarian surfaces.

Holding Patterns는 일상적인 텍스타일을 위한 오리지널 패턴과 프린트를 만드는 서페이스 패턴 디자인 스튜디오입니다. 촉감이 있는 실용적인 표면에 색과 형태를 다시 불어넣고 싶어하는 그래픽 디자이너 Elsa Chiao의 애정어린 프로젝트예요.
