We’re excited to announce that The National Leadership Forum is partnering with @holdonchallengeaus , in support of the team at the Youth Impact Foundation.

The Hold On Challenge promotes mental health, resilience, and support, encouraging young Australians to hold on through life’s ups and downs together. It reminds us that strength is not found in doing it alone, but in connection, compassion, and shared values. These are the same principles that sit at the heart of the Forum.

The practical part of the challenge is simple. Record yourself holding on to something, whether that’s hanging from a bar, holding a plank, or sitting against a wall, and post it using #HoldOnChallenge. It’s a fun and powerful way to show support and start conversations about mental health.

You can get involved by:
1. Joining the challenge through @holdonchallengeaus
2. Sharing your video or photo using #HoldOnChallenge
3. Encouraging your community to hold on for someone who needs it

Together, we can inspire a culture of care and connection across Australia.
Let’s Hold On, together.

There's so much we can do to support 💛

We see every day how connection, empathy and evidence-based support can change the story for young people struggling with their mental health. That’s why we’re proud to be joining the Hold On Challenge - a movement reminding young people they’re never holding on alone.

Here’s how it works:
💪 Hold on - hang, plank, or wall sit.
⏱️ Time your hold.
📣 Share it - post your time, tag @holdonchallengeaus and nominate a friend to join.

Every second you hold on helps fund programs that build connection, confidence and hope for young people. Because when we hold on together, we make it easier for others to do the same.

Join us. Take the challenge. Hold on for youth mental health!
