💬 “My time at GCU was honestly one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.” We caught up with Ronita, who is graduating today with her MBA in Luxury Brand Management. She told us all about her experience at GCU London, and how attending guest lectures led to an internship at an award-winning creative agency in London. 🎓🧵 “The MBA in Luxury Brand Management offered a unique balance between creativity, strategic thinking, and sustainability — values that deeply align with my professional aspirations. “My time at GCU was honestly one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I loved the sense of community on campus — everyone was so welcoming, and it really felt like a place where people wanted you to succeed. The professors were supportive and always encouraged us to think beyond the textbook, which helped me grow both academically and personally.  “Throughout my studies at GCU, I had many opportunities to connect with professionals in my field and gain insight into real-world industry experiences. We regularly attended guest lectures from industry leaders who shared their expertise and career journeys, which was both inspiring and practical. “In fact, it was through one of these guest lectures that I met the Chief Executive of Holition, which eventually led to my internship opportunity.  “I’m excited to start my career in marketing and digital innovation. Thanks to the knowledge, skills, and real-world experiences I gained at GCU, I’ve already secured an opportunity in London in the field I’m passionate about.  “My advice to students is to be pro-active and embrace every opportunity to learn, both inside and outside the classroom. “Network with professionals, attend guest lectures, and don’t be afraid to put yourself forward for internships or leadership roles — they make a huge difference. “Most importantly, stay open to new experiences and keep building your skills, because the experiences you have now will directly shape your future career.” Huge congratulations, Ronita! We can’t wait to see what you’ll go on to achieve next. 💙✨ #GCULGrad25 #Classof2025 #WeAreGCU

In the heart of Scotland, Glasgow Caledonian University is quietly and powerfully rewriting the narrative of who gets to shape the future of fashion. With a sector-defying 22.1% of undergraduate students coming from disadvantaged backgrounds, GCU is not just widening access - it’s redefining it. At the core of this transformation? Scholarships. Far more than just financial support, these lifelines are giving talented individuals the freedom to dream bigger, reach further, and believe in their potential. For aspiring fashion leaders like Mia, Antony and Selah, the impact has been seismic. Mia speaks of emotional strength and unlocked confidence - the kind that ignites ambition. “This scholarship has helped open doors for me,” she shares. “I hope to one day give back and support others.” Antony, meanwhile, candidly highlights how essential this support has been amidst the current cost of living crisis. It hasn’t just helped him survive - it’s empowered him to lead and inspire others. And Selah? She’s already turning heads. Her scholarship has elevated her industry experience and given her the edge she needs to secure a future in fashion. For donors, this is not just philanthropy - it’s an investment in the next generation of creatives, changemakers, and visionaries who might otherwise be locked out of the industry. And among those leading the charge is none other than Sir Alex Ferguson CBE - legendary football manager and founding donor to the GCU Foundation. Since establishing his own scholarships and awards programme in 2015, Sir Alex has shown the same tenacity and belief in young talent off the pitch as he did during his iconic career on it. A true champion of opportunity, his legacy continues to shape futures - both in fashion and far beyond.
