One of the best parts of going to signing events is not only seeing and meeting the Authors and buying more books than we intended. But it's meeting members of the bookish community and people you talk with online and yap about books with on the daily!

I might of had to fly 2 states up to Queensland, but I met a fellow This Won't End Well (by @sambennettbooks) ARC reader IN THE WILD! So of course @alchemy.lore.literature
and I had to document this momentous occasion with a picture of the book i cant stop yapping and obsessing about!

It even turns out I've met 2 TWEW ARC readers up at the Mine After Midnight Book Launch on the Gold Coast. We just didn't realise until after the fact and then we got sadmad about our missed opportunity for big squeezes!

I met @facingforward_todayntomorrow and we bonded over our almost matching dragon tattoos and nails (which goes to show that regardless of the books we both love, we were vibing regardless!)

Probably a good thing we didn't realise because i probably would have passed out of excitement (and that would have been stressful! 🤣)

So here's to amazing books, community and the friends we meet along the way!

Thank you to @sambennettbooks and @hollowbonepress
for bringing some phenomenal women into my life!

I mean, the post says it without these words, but I can’t get this book out of my head. If you love books that truly get you hooked and feeling ALL the feels— this is it! There will be 10, yes TEN , books in the series and I just wish I could have them all yesterday. I laughed a lot, cried some, WTF’d a bit, and then laughed some more. Every main character had my heart (@heyits.steven.lee most) and I look forward to each of their journeys. #indieauthors #foundfamily #romance #emotionaldamage #yearning

PLACE YOUR BETS: PART TWO

WIN A KINDLE + A COPY OF THIS WON’T END WELL!

We’ve asked our ARC readers to vote for their favourite character.

Some have read the full manuscript. Some have only read the bonus scenes. Others voted based entirely on vibes.

It’s been a close race between two characters, but one is starting to pull ahead.

Now it’s your turn to guess who the crowd favourite will be!

Get it right and you’ll go into the draw to win a Kindle and a copy of This Won’t End Well.

To enter:

1. Follow @sambennettbooks on Instagram.
2. Place your bet using the form linked in our bio.

Open to Australia, New Zealand, the US, Canada and the UK.

Entries close: 30 November
Winner announced: 5 December (AEST)

Hollow Bone Society members receive double entries.

Good luck, and may your questionable judgement of fictional people finally pay off.

I Know Something You Don’t Know 🙃

Or maybe you do 😋

I was just accepted into the @hollowbonepress team and their first debut author is @sambennettbooks 🙌

I’ve been lucky to receive and arc copy of the first book and it sounds so good! One of the things that drew me to the author, team, and book are the people. Not just focusing on checking a trope checklist but getting to the heart of people. How complex and beautiful and messy and extraordinary we are.

This book centers around a group of friends and you know how much I LOVE a friend group.

Can’t wait to update y’all once I finish the book ❤️

Our winner is: @charlieonebookatatime

And a huge shout out to @hollowbonepress and @sambennettbooks for making this possible!

✨This Won’t End Well ARC Review✨

First, I want to thank @sambennettbooks and @hollowbonepress for the gifted early eARC of This Won’t End Well to read and provide my honest, spoiler free review!

My Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

My Thoughts:
This Won’t End Well is the type of book that takes an emotional toll on both the characters and the readers. This is the type of story where the build up will be slow and the characters will learn as they grow but I can promise you that it is completely worth it to read.

From the very beginning, I could easily pick up on that Kels is the type of girl that would affect me the most. Just the way her mannerisms were and her responses to people already told me everything I needed to know about her. The use of keeping people at arms length as a defense mechanism really spoke to my soul and had me completely hooked in wanting to know everything about Kels and what all happened to shape her into the way she is today. As a reader, and as someone who tends to be able to read people pretty well, I could see right through Kels and I think that’s what got me the most. Seeing her want things but still keeping them spaced away from her to protect herself from future heartache just broke my soul.

Craig…Craig was the sweetest character ever. Seeing him be there for Kels in any way that he could while respecting her boundaries made him a massive green flag for me. He reminded me a lot of myself because he was able to notice a lot of things about Kels that others might not. He was patient, supportive, protective and just overall a good person that couldn’t stand to lose Kels in any way.

There is so much more I want to say but to do that I’d be potentially spoiling things and I won’t do that to future readers. What I will say is that I hope readers pick up this book and give Kels and Craig a chance. You never know when you might feel a certain connection to a story so it’s important to always go into a story like this knowing that things won’t be easy. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and hope to read more by this author in the future.

My current reader obsession is this 10 book series by @sambennettbooks . The ARC guardian wish granters @hollowbonepress just happened to be on my side. I fell in love with all of the main characters, but I have a little extra in my heart for my book bestie @heyits.steven.lee . Every single character is amazing in their own way. If you love found family, friendship , heartache , 2000’s nostalgia , and first love stories— this series is for you. Go order book one that comes out on 12/28 while I impatiently wait for books 2-10. Also, thank you to @sambennettbooks for putting up with my obsessive nonsense. #firstlove #indieauthors #romancebookstagram #foundfamily #yearning
