It was so nice out we all wanted to have dinner outside today and somehow both boys were calm and happy so I had the ability to take some pictures of our lil’ random Friday eve outing. I LOVE this trio of small local businesses. @holyghostbar is always serving up great cocktails 🍸 the vibes have always been so good but I haven’t really been as a family. This was my first time back in years which is probably why both the connected restaurants were new to me (RIP 28 Tigers & Electric Pizza!) @bbangpdx is the newest establishment on the block I’ve had it saved and it looks incredible but everyone wanted pizza so @panconquesopdx serves speciality Mexican pizza and unfortunately my oldest only wanted Pepperoni pizza (so he could take everything off besides the sauce of course) but my husband loved the Chorizo w bell pepper pizza (mildly spicy) and I ate everyone’s leftover crust which I have to say was pretty good crust. I love a thin, crispy but chewy crust! Maybe it was because we showed up at 5:30pm but young families were everywhere! But so were coworkers grabbing drinks and youngsters (anyone younger than me) meeting up with friends, and a couple first dates, everyone just taking their time and enjoying the firepits and sunny sidewalk picnic tables. It’s a low-key Portland neighborhood gem I always forget about and then am so happy to ‘rediscover’ again! SAVE this post next time you wanna meet up with friends for a low key hang with OR without the kiddos 💕 #momlife #pdxmoms #portlandoregon #pdxeats Pan Con Queso 📍 2730 SE Gladstone St Opens everyday at 4pm

Alliance for a Safe Oregon is teaming up with Project POOCH for an evening of trivia, in support of both of our Willamette Week Give!Guide campaigns. You’ll recognize our trivia host as one of Portland’s best - Untapped Trivia! Project POOCH gives youth at MacLaren Youth Correctional Facility the chance to train shelter dogs for adoption - building skills, confidence, and purpose while helping dogs find loving homes. At Alliance for a Safe Oregon, we work to prevent gun tragedies and build safer communities. Both missions come from the same belief: when young people have opportunities, support, and hope, our communities grow stronger and safer. We hope you’ll join us for this fun event - tickets are limited and available for purchase in our bio. Thank you to Holy Ghost Bar for letting us use your space (and for just being amazing in general!) #giveguide #willametteweek #pdxevents #pdxtrivia #untappedtrivia
