#FREEDOMFriday ♿️🇺🇸🔑
Hello and happy #TGIF & #REDFriday 🎗♥️

Our friends at @aandjmobility had a request from this #usmarine and his wife/RN/caregiver for a 2-way remote start for their #freedomVan
The good folks at #theradiodoctor in #madisonwisconsin stepped up big time and helped our delivery date stay on schedule. Thank you!
If you are in the area, stop in and support these businesses.

Workweek is a wrap!
♿️ 4 new applications received for HOMH ramp entry minivan assistance.
👍🏼 1 new WELCOME TO THE #HOMHfamily call to a 78 yrs young #VietnamVeteran and his wife. #agentorangevictims suffer all types of disabling diseases. Wheelchair dependency is when we get the call.
400 lb power wheelchairs can not be ‘loaded’ into any ‘ole vehicle. Ramp or lift-entry assistance is a must!

So, on this windy, chilly January day- a walk to our neighborhood POPP UP Farm Day was exhilarating & fresh farm/greenhouse veggies is our reward!

Checkout our HOMH Facebook & Website to meet all our #homhvanfamily rocks 🦾🦿🤙🏽

We’ve been a bit quiet here on #socialmedia
🔴 hard at work accepting new applications to our ♿️ramp entry vehicle grants
🤍 phone calls, video chats & interviews, delivering the good news
‘Welcome to our #HOMHfamily! We will be working you to assist your new, wheelchair accessible vehicle!’
🔵 fundraising!
#covid19 and #2020restrictions have made this the most difficult challenge.
We would like to thank @brokenshed USA for giving us HOPE!

We are looking forward to OCTOBER 29 in #ftmyersflorida @mobilityworks when this gorgeous bright white @braunability #chryslerpacifica will be our #149vanaward to retired #usarmy SSG Michael Montagne & his wife, Cami Sue.

it has begun...
here at #homhhq Ma & Pa have birthdays separated by just a few days.
Cupcakes were immediately enjoyed and now these beautiful reminders of loving friends who go out-of-their way to swing by and make us feel extra-special.

Our #flashbackFriday 💜 is also one of #danburyct favorites and #westpointtriathlon #paraathletes @mark_holbert76
This #greenberet is the living, breathing definition of a BADASS!

‘Snipet’ if a description of a Green Beret:
‘...Because their job demands that they be able to perform well in and adapt to changing environments, Green Berets are often college-educated, some to a post-graduate level. Many enter training already bilingual. This will serve them well during instruction, as they're not only exposed to grueling physical tests, but are also trained in the culture, language, customs, geography and traditions of the area that will ultimately serve as their Areas of Operation (AO).’

Mark, as a double (almost triple!) amputee, has accomplished more and lives life more fully than most humans on planet Earth!
This post could go on and on trying to describe this amazing man, suffice to say ‘he has the best hair coming out of a swim cap at a triathlon that we’ve ever seen!’
Right @theduchess_tiffany & @its_me_izzy33 🥇☝🏽

Meal✌🏽 ~ It’s Sunday. It’s raining. We cook!
#shoplocal #localfarmers and our local market allowed us to walk to our food!
Thank you @adriennejaneburke and your awesome team for turning @greisers into an amazing MARKET during #covid19stayathome
We combined amazing #BelAria Arborio rice and @shaggycoosfarm chicken sausage to create @chefsymon #risotto
We sautéed @sporthillfarm #yellowzucchini #eggplant and #onion garnished with @gilbertiesorganics #mediterraneanblend

We are in a coma... a glorious, satiated #foodcoma

COVID = Laurie likes to cook + Ted likes her cooking = marriage made in Heaven.

We shopped locally today. Thanks @farmsherwood where our neighbor @maryanndegala handpicked our eggplants & peppers and we purchased their delicious marinara sauce. Then, over to @shaggycoosfarm for local creamline milk and freshly made mozzarella. Garden grown Basil thanks to our organic herbs from @gilbertiesorganics
A 4 mile walk with our granddoggie #dollydagger and now it’s dinner time!
