POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

A very belated post but I wanted to celebrate 500 followers!! Despite being close to 600 now since I’ve left this so long.

I started this account 5months ago on a whim, wanting to create and share my love for reading. I’m so so happy I did!

I wanna share the love and share some of my favourite accounts since starting my own!! This was so hard and please know, there are hundreds of other accounts I wish I could have also included!

Thank you everyone who follows and enjoys my lil content hehe 💖

I could make a dozen parts of this series (and maybe I will, don’t threaten me with a good time!) but as someone who tries to use social media in an additive way rather than as a purely escapist or distracting hole to fall into, there are people in the book space doing amazing things and I want to highlight them!

Creating book content is a lot of labor, and compared to other kinds of content creation it’s also often underpaid, if creators get paid at all beyond the PR gifts that are free books. So I’m extra grateful for creators that dedicate themselves to enlivening the world of litfic, classics, and just generally deep dives into what literature is capable of. 💓💓

Do you like this new aesthetic? I'm still experimenting, but I'm planning on mixing it with the one I currently have. :) Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated ✨

I found this trend super fun to do! I tagged a few people, but there's absolutely no pressure. And, of course, feel free to join in 💜

I have to admit that, for now, that little jar isn't very full. As much as I love drama, my favourite characters don't usually die, they just end up carrying even more trauma on their shoulders 😂

As for the poem, I absolutely adore Yeats. It's true that I haven't been reading much poetry lately, but I'd really like to change that this year.

If you've been here for a while, you probably know that I use postcards as bookmarks. Many of them are souvenirs from my visits to art museums. They're obviously a bit bigger than regular bookmarks, but I actually prefer them 🤭
