We were delighted to recently carry out an SEAI Energy Audit for this popular Restaurant located in Galway's West End.

Hooked is an award winning Seafood Restaurant, operating since 2014 and has been very proactive in recent years improving their energy efficiency by undertaking thermal fabric improvements, upgrading to LEDs and installing new HVAC systems.
Our audit provided a list of recommendations that could further reduce energy consumption by 45% and save €15k a year on energy costs.

Availing of SEAI and LEO grants, the payback period would be less than 4 years.

The Free €2,000 Energy Audit Voucher for SMEs is funded by SEAI and more information can be found at https://energi-iq.com/energy-audits/

📩 For more information on how to claim your Free €2,000 Energy Audit for your Business, contact us at info@energi-iq.com

Taking it back to when Instagram was just photos of food. 😎

Here are some photos of food I have eaten the last two weeks in Galway.

Where should I eat next?

#galway #ireland #foodie #irishfood

📍Jungle Cafe Galway
This kimchi hashbrown smoked salmon with egg was the dish of my dreams. 🤤

📍Hooked
Seafood Stew with all the bits of mussels, clams, and fish with the most delectable broth! I will be back.

📍 Hooked
The Oysters and Pepper Squid. 💯

📍Pascal Coffee & Pancake House

An Elvis pancake? Sure, why not! It was incredibly delicious but also something that needs to be shared.

📍Xi’an Street Food

I have been there twice! Spice Bag is so addicting and the spicy noodles 🍜 may be the best noodles I have ever had (not pictured).

📍Roberto’s Flat

My Spanish friends made me Spanish tortillas, chips and Irish sausage! 💯

📍Claw Crab Rolls in Eyre Square

I want to eat this salad and crab roll every week at the Tiny Traders Village in Eyre Square.

📍McDonagh’s

I had to try the infamous fish & chips. Would I be back? Eh. Maybe.

📍Burgerstory

Just a tried and true burger. I was so hungry, so I am completely biased.

📍Dough Boys

Best pizza I have had in Ireland. Would 💯go back.

📍Dough Boys
Eating pizza on the steps of a church because it is too crowded makes for a great memory.

📍Everywhere

Coffee. I have had a lot of it. I don’t recall where this was taken. ☺️

📍Tomodachi Sushi Bar

Sushi rolls, Studio Ghibli art, and miso soup - what more could a girl ask for?

Some actual ratings for once because I think I’ve earned soup intern status.

Had the pleasure of chatting to @nathaliemc for the summer edition of @galway_now about some of my Galway faves!

“At the risk of sounding like all I do is eat and drink…” and then proceeds to spend the rest of the article discussing food and drink - at least I’m self aware? An extensive, but not exhaustive list of some of the wonderful places in Galway that I love to visit.

Did I miss anything from the list?

Shoutout to @dylanjdigital for the lovely mug shot too!

Never take a hangry man to a very busy seafood restaurant and order five appetizers before his main. 😂🦪

We somehow scored a last-minute table at Hooked @hookedgalway in Galway @visitgalway and immediately understood why there was a lineup out the door. The place was PACKED, loud, chaotic, and smelled like buttery seafood heaven. Meanwhile, Peacha was slowly descending into full hangry survival mode.

“Where’s my food?”
— Peacha surrounded by 47 people, balancing on the edge of emotional collapse @turnedcrafts

To be fair… we did order:
🦪 oysters straight from their own oyster farm
🦐 prawn nachos
🌮 haddock tacos
✨ scallops with pancetta
🍲 Killarney mussels

And somehow every single dish arrived on one tiny table without a single casualty. Respect to the servers because that was Olympic-level plate stacking.

The scallops? Unreal.
The oysters? Fresh as it gets.
The tacos? Gone in seconds.
The entire restaurant? Absolute sensory overload in the best possible way.

And just when Peacha thought he might perish waiting for a “real meal,” the fish & chips arrived and peace was restored to the kingdom.

10/10 seafood.
0/10 strategy for managing a hungry man.

Day 2 of Ireland.
Galway for cheese @sheridanscheese ! Got a selection of four Irish cheeses. Dunmore Brie, Wicklow Blue, Gubbeen @toriwindle ‘s favourite, and St Tola goat. Plus a delicious bottle of their apple, mint and elderflower drink. When they say Ireland is green they aren’t kidding! Lots of water too. I am loving all of the canals. Dinner for oysters and local seafood @hookedgalway Tomorrow we head to the beach 🏖️
