🌟🌟🌟🌟✨(4.5)/5🌟

To be honest, i didn't expect this to be this entertaining!

I picked this up because, one of my favourite bookstagrammer said this series is a lot of fun to binge. And i was searching for an entertaining story to make me laugh.

Let me just say, this one definitely cracked me up.

Aunt Pip more than anyone else. Lavender too was hilarious. And sometimes she definitely makes u forget she is six instead of sixteen.

Imagine there is a safe house, or a retreat centre for women, who accidentally ends up going viral on the internet, in a very bad way. They can escape to this place to recoup themselves.

And that's why I think, the main attraction is the characters. For this story, the characters are the story. And the concept is so unique and interesting.

The complexities and the internal war after the most embarrassing moment in their life was painted so well, we feel every bit.

And then why did i cut that half star?

Because, it took me a while to get really into the story. I could only enjoy it once i was fully into it.

I think that's not a 5 star for me.

But this was close enough, and hence 4.5 stars

The Core Hook:
It's a brutal fictional "story within a story." By having you see the central tragedy of Raghav and Maya through the eyes of a dying patient in a hospital, you're forced to think of love in terms of a desperate, violent hold on people who have nothing left to lose.

The Atmosphere:
Unapologetically dark. It sacrifices the traditional "romance" for a chilly, sensory exploration of trauma. It has a quick pace, with perspectives that create a feeling of inevitable collision.

The "Villain" Angle:
The best thing in the book is its attack on the "Hero." It claims that a hero is simply someone who knows when to stop, while a villain is someone whose love is so consuming that it becomes destructive. The Raghav/Arjun identity twist really drives the point home that these characters are based on "ugly scaffolding."

Final Verdict:
It's an uncomfortable read that explores the "scabs" of human connection. Not everyone will enjoy it because of the heavy themes, but for the reader looking for a psychological thriller where obsession is the key rather than redemption, it's a strong read.
