awesome session with @hope.faraday 🔥

Hope has huge potential in bikini and we’ve worked together for some time now

since her competition season ended in July, a lot of progress has been made and I’m seriously excited about what’s ahead for her

she has a huge focus on becoming a great athlete and absolutely no rush to get back on stage until she’s ready to dominate

we’ve spent a lot of the latter part of this year creating momentum in training, making improvements to her physique and getting her female hormones back on track post prep

we’ll likely spend the entirety of next year away from the stage unless we feel she’s ready sooner, but right now the timeline is set for 2028

we’re not interested in rushing the process, we’re interested in building a physique that can do some serious damage when she returns

great session today, serious intensity and exactly the attitude we need to make change and the progress wanted / I know she can make

Great day🔥

I forgot just how good these are for glute growth until my coach @hope.faraday reminded me! 🫶🏼 Safe to say they’re making their way back into my glute sessions 💪🏼

Add this to your glute day, focus on your form, control every rep and SQUEEZE at the top! 💪🏼

Save this for your next glute session 🍑✨

I’ll give her anything her heart desires, except the angle

A man has his limits

Coming towards the end of off season week 7. Have seen a big up shift in training performance and fullness with a couple kilos being added since last week

Food was shifted up a couple times to sit now at 5.5k cals and 950g of carb

Wouldn’t normally want such a fast rate of gain but I was holding around 124-125kg for a long period of time still super fucking lean which certainly isn’t an issue as food kept going up but felt like I was tearing through it and gym performance was a bit stagnant

Definitely feeling it now and things are moving nicely so I’m happy

Seated d handle bicep curl x 3
Flat prime chest press x 2
Single arm pulldown x 2

Off season week 5 - Pull

Feels good to be back in my groove after the holiday looking forward to a full week of training in my usual set up

The shoulder niggle is essentially gone didn’t cause any issues today so the rest and BPC protocol did the job

Bringing up my lats is still a massive priority of mine this off season. They have improved a lot but still need a lot of work and I am continuously refining the work I am doing. That’s the beauty of training it is an ever evolving skill and every year I do this I learn even more of how to improve

It’s a very exciting time, tonnes of progress to make and everything is new territory. I am really happy with where this next off season is starting from size and condition wise and I’m confident that at the end of this push I will be very competitive in the shows I do no matter how busy and stacked. Now it’s time to put it into practice

Pull
Seated bicep curl x 3
Single arm row x 2
Single arm pulldown x 2
Machine row x 2
Kelso shrug x 1
Pulldown x 2
Single arm hammer curl x 2
Rear delt fly x 1 rest pause

For as long as I can remember I was convinced I was meant to be on my own. I was happy to be, relying on nobody and not having anybody to answer to was my reason. I got very comfortable with my own company, maybe a little bit too comfortable to the point it was near on impossible to let anyone in and spend time with someone for more than 5 minutes

Enter Hope

Little did I know the great life I had created that I was so resistant to let change would only be enhanced by meeting the right person

I was under the impression a relationship would hold me back. In reality Hope only makes me work harder and helps me work harder

Spending lots of time on my own taught me how to truly be happy in myself. Then meeting Hope taught me that life is only enhanced by meeting a partner you can share it all with

She is my constant and has brought peace into my life

Soppy one today boys but a message to you all to not settle for anything less than someone who truly supports, understands and improves your life in every way, if not what’s the point. Spend time on your own so you dont rush into something not right. Then when you meet someone who is right they are there by choice, not by need

Here's @hope.faraday with a little insight on her past competitions 🥳🥳

She's a pillar member of our "1pm bodybuilding crew"😎 here at FLF and she's currently going through a good long building phase!

More from her and the other members of our community coming soon 💪🏻 stay tuned!

Hope will look absolutely unreal next time she jumps on stage, I know it! Especially with how much work she's putting into the craft!! 🤩🤩

Training intensity is and always will be king

Learning to train HARD should always come first (as long as you aren’t doing anything unsafe)

If you are getting into the gym, have lifted for a couple years and dont have a substantial amount of muscle. Block out this noise, get into the gym and take it there. As long as your form doesn’t deteriorate and look like shit

Learn to train like an animal, then refine it. This will warrant so much more progress long term

Back on the cybex hack yesterday as I’m away from FLF
Haven’t run this for about a year. Felt amazing. Will look to swap back to this or smith squat for the next push up with my improved execution and maturity with training it will cause less issues. Just feels way more hardcore and fun
