2 hours 16 minutes. Open category. Same standards as everyone else on that floor.

8+ months of training led to this and Xav didn’t complain once, he loved every single second of it. That’s the part that gets me. Not just that he finished, but that he was smiling the whole way through the pain.

He didn’t want the adaptive category. He looked at the standard everyone else races and said “yeah, that one.” And then he went and backed it up.

Proudest I’ve been to lace up next to anyone. 🖤🔥

Here’s to the next one mate 💪🏽

Okay we need to talk about Xavier 🖤

This lad’s been with us since 2021. Quiet as anything, never makes a fuss, just shows up and trains. Five years grinding with Karl. Already stepped on a bodybuilding stage. And now? This weekend he’s racing HYROX in Sydney, doubles, right next to his support worker Chris.

And here’s the thing that gives us chills. He’s not in the adaptive category. He’s in the Open. Same race as everyone else. He looked at the standard everybody else races and went “yeah, that one.”

Nobody gave him that spot. He built it himself, one session at a time, for years, when literally no one was watching.

And he hasn’t done it alone. Karl, five years in his corner, never treated him like anything less than an athlete - because he is one. And Chris, who’s not just supporting him this weekend but lacing up and racing right beside him. That’s not a small thing. That’s love, on the floor, under the clock.

So whatever happens out there this weekend Xav, you’ve already won. We’re so proud of you it’s ridiculous.

GO GET EM XAV 🔥
