Was very lucky to be invited to speak on the 87th episode of The Bazaar Cast ( @thebazaarcast ). It’s an awesome podcast featuring interviews from ex-CIA operatives to YouTubers to writers, artists and everyone in between. Creator/host Richard and I had a good chinwag about the C&C story thus far, the creative process, and some general musings about fumbling your way through the creative journey. If you're curious to learn what goes on under the bonnet, the link to listen is in my bio! Big thanks to @thefearmerchant for being a most hospitable host and for the opportunity to create the cover artwork too 🤝

Want a free ad?! Announcing the Financially Dry July Lockdown Campaign!

As Sydney hauls itself though it’s third week of lockdown, many local businesses are doing their best to keep their heads above water. It’s a conclusively shit go no matter which way you slice it.

As such, I’m offering some free design services to help out any Sydney-based businesses. I’ll create your very own custom text-based ad for use on your socials for any promotional or announcement purposes - at no cost to you. The image above provides a loose reference as to how these ads will look stylistically. I’ll also be resharing each post to drive some awareness too.

I’m capping this at 10 for the time being, so first in, first served. If you’re a Sydney business-owner, feel free to get in touch, or if you know someone who is, please share this with them. Please like, share, tag, get the word out. Hang in there Sydney, COVID’s a right dog, but we’ll get through this. Hit me up, leave your details, and let's get it!

My entry for @pitchgrim 's lockdown collaboration contest. He created the incredible first half of the design as a template (swipe to see his original design) and the contestant fills the remaining space with their own work. I was recently reading about the old Japanese artist Hokusai who carved the famous ‘The Great Wave off Kanagawa’ woodblock so I felt inspired to do something ocean-related. Spent a few days chipping away at this, and learned quite a bit in the process. All in all, a solid time. Cheers @pitchgrim for the opportunity to whack this together.
