🌈✨ Our first annual South Asian Pride Market was pure magic.

Thank you to every vendor, performer, volunteer, community member, and supporter who helped bring this gathering to life. What began as a dream became an afternoon filled with connection, joy, art, music, and celebration.

We’re honored to have created this space alongside @satrangsocal and to celebrate the beauty, resilience, and diversity of our South Asian LGBTQ+ community.

Until next year. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

#Zines4Palestine Host me? @wandsworthfop @merton.fop I have literally 100s of Zines on Palestine, as well as exhibition catalogues, comics, emphemera, posters, that I collected over 30 years from all around the world from Hong Kong to Peru, Australia to Ireland, Indonesia to Gaza @diyzinebank

I recently had an exhibition a portion of them in Folkestone just 2 weeks ago.
But
why not locally where I actually live in London, Tooting and Mitcham. Just ask. Cover my travel, maybe get me lunch as I am poor. Otherwise it just sitting in boxes in my parents attics and garage. @ual_sjp @_amazines @p21_gallery
@mosaicroomsbookshop

All social movements should care about illustration, comics, graphic communications, play, fun, DIY Cultures, artistic expression if they want to thrive and flower, but a lot of local Palestine Solidarity work looks over it.

But I am here in London- just ask and we can talk... I have a lot to say on Zines culture and Palestine Solidarity. The zine fairs in Germany like Bremner are pro-Zionist and pro-Genocide and Antideutsche scum so don't take this space for granted.

The biggest zine fair in the UK is pro-BDS Glasgow Zine fair @glasgowzinelib

(Also 1001 thanks to my readers and followers who helped me buy these glasses :D when I was too poor to afford them.)

Local Folkestone people picked Amina @hotdoodle zines as her 2 favourites zines.

Many members of @shepwaygreens local Green Party visited the space and took a deep interest in my work and had long discussions with me about addressing social injustices, the genocide in Palestine, fascist attacks on minorities and refugees. Some visited multiple times and brought their friends and comrades. I am grateful for this sincere support and appreciation. Green Party policies also addressed the concerns of the zine makers such as the Filton 24 hunger strikers zines, unjustly proscribed by the Starmer-led government.
There are other social issues with in the zines such as Islamophobia, housing, inequality, ecology, and colonial history across generations.

These are my own independent views as a visiting artist and curator and do not represent those of the institution hosting me.

Zine Cultures grow out of these marginalised communities and social exclusions.
