While we were still soaking up the last of summer in the south, the rest of Europe slowly began to slip into autumn, and in the meantime, the last spots for our South Tyrol retreat were booked.

Thank you to all the women joining us!

We can’t wait to spend this autumn in our favourite cosy cocoon-like stay, overlooking the Dolomites.

Most retreats will tell you that autumn is nature’s call to rest. We’ll be honest: it isn’t, not really. Humans aren’t dormant plants or hibernating animals. Especially for most of us women, it’s our own cycles that set the rhythm, not the seasons. Nothing in our biology demands that we slow down just because the leaves are turning, and modern life certainly won’t pause for us.

That said. The old harvest-then-rest rhythm still holds a good idea: that slowing down works best when you choose to do it intentionally, rather than waiting until you’re exhausted. Shorter days do affect energy and mood for many of us, and the world we live in won’t ask us to slow down, so we have to be the ones to create and claim that space for ourselves.

For us, that’s what self-preservation means: setting (and holding!) our boundaries, and choosing rest, regulation and care before we’re depleted.

It’s not a rule of nature. It’s a conscious decision, and one we’d like to make and put into practice together. So if you missed the chance to join us this autumn, our last retreat of the year, no worries: know that any time to retreat is a good time, and we hope to welcome you in 2027.

Tagliatelle fatte in casa 10/10. Inoltre esiste un all day menu così che si possa mangiare a qualsiasi ora del giorno

L’atmosfera è sofisticata, rilassante e accogliente
