Not sure where the original owner got this border collie. But having a working dog left alone for 22 hours a day is irresponsible, they need stimulation, play, a job.

It is so important to choose a dog based on your lifestyle and shelter and rescue people should be matching dogs with the best fit for the family and their lifestyle.

Seriously, @houseforfinn you are amazing for taking this on and making a difference for this dog. People like you are the only reason a dog like this makes it out of a shelter. 🐾

What have you heard about how you “should” introduce dogs?

We couldn’t capture the reactions of all of the pups, but it was heartwarming to bring a bit of joy to the dogs of Detroit Animal Care and Control this holiday season. @friendsofdacc

Support your local shelters - they do such important work.

Meet Poptart! She’s a foster who is slowly turning into a neat little sport dog! She’ll be with us for a few months while she learns all the things! What better way to celebrate your first birthday than a dog party with your best wrestling friends?! Thanks @houseforfinn for supplying the pics, party and friends!!

When you buy your dog a house, and then he needs his own dog, but then you need another dog for your dogs dog.

Finally finished this gallery today, and this one of Kaitlin and her pup Finn caught me off guard.

If you know Kaitlin you’ve probably experienced her compassion and kindness toward all living things. So thankful for good friends 💛
