SYLPH: WHAT’S ONE UNCONVENTIONAL DETAIL OR
APPROACH YOU LOVE ADDING TO YOUR WORK THAT NOT EVERYONE NOTICES AT FIRST GLANCE?

“I believe that true luxury in interior design lies not in excess, but in restraint. A refined space does not demand a multitude of colors or materials; rather, it thrives on thoughtful curation and clarity of intent. By limiting my palette to two or three carefully selected elements — be it a character stone, rich wood, or sculptural metal-! explore their full potential, using them in nuanced ways to craft interiors that are both distinctive and timeless in their elegance.”

TELL US: WHAT MATERIAL /TEXTURE/INGREDIENT DO YOU LOVE WORKING WITH THE MOST - AND WHY DOES IT RESONATE WITH YOU?

“Being a designer in the 21st century, it’s crucial for me to explore new materials, textures, finishes and make use of them in the most interesting way possible to attain versatility in my designs.

Among these, brass remains a personal favorite, both as a material and a finish, it introduces an understated sense of luxury and warmth in any space.”

SYLPH: WHICH PART OF THE CREATIVE PROCESS EXCITES YOU THE MOST - CONCEPTUALISING, MATERIAL SELECTION, SPATIAL PLANNING OR FINISHING TOUCHES?

“As a designer, the most exhilarating moment is witnessing a concept evolve into a tangible reality—that’s where the true magic unfolds. There is profound satisfaction in standing within a completed space, especially having seen it in its raw, unformed state. The transformation from an empty shell to a thoughtfully crafted environment is what continually fuels my passion for design.”
