How are we still making jokes about women’s bodies and what we wear in 2026?

Calling women whores because of what they wear to the gym isn’t just distasteful. It reinforces a culture where women are judged, shamed, and dehumanized for simply existing in their bodies.

I’m fu*king angry.

And especially with everything happening in the world right now, the last thing we need is another reminder that women’s bodies are apparently public property, open to commentary, criticism, and the ridiculous question “but what was she wearing?”

We’re fighting for our rights, our safety, our autonomy, and to be taken seriously as human beings. And yet, somehow, a woman wearing a short shorts to workout is still an acceptable punchline?

I’m angry because these things don’t exist in a vacuum. The way we talk about women matters. The way we normalize misogyny matters. And treating women like they deserve less respect because of what they wear is part of a much bigger problem.

Women do not owe you modesty. We do not owe you an explanation for what we wear. And we certainly don’t owe you the privilege of being treated like human beings only when you approve of how we look.

It’s not that deep? Actually, it is.

I’m tired.

This is Shane Gillis’ monologue on SNL this weekend, like how? He was fired by them in 2019 for saying similar things.

One year ago, I signed up for my first-ever IRONMAN 70.3 @ironmantri in Muskoka.

And although this year hasn’t exactly gone the way I planned, I wanted to take a moment to celebrate.

I originally signed up because I wanted to prove to my Type B, spontaneous self that I could actually stick to something long enough. I guess I was training my discipline more than anything.

But life had other plans… (last slide for a surprise 🫣)

A month before Muskoka 70.3, I crashed my bike. And just two weeks ago, what was supposed to be my second attempt at Jones Beach 70.3 got cancelled due to a coastal flood warning.

At this point, I’m starting to think the universe really doesn’t want me to do an IRONMAN in 2026 😭

But through this journey, I realized something.

The whole reason I signed up was to learn how to show up consistently. To commit to something, even when things don’t go according to plan - like getting injured on and off the whole damn year.

That maybe the race was never the ultimate goal.

Maybe the real win was everything it took to get here. The early mornings, the long rides, the setbacks, the days I didn’t feel like training but showed up anyway.

That really, the race itself is just a celebration.

So this Sunday, I’m celebrating. And I’m celebrating the fck out of this last year I’ve put into training.

With the help of @clubsportifmaa @mtlmarathon I’ll be racing my very own DIY 70.3.

1.9K swim at @clubsportifmaa

90K bike through the city of Montreal.

And finishing it off with a bang at the Beneva Half Marathon. 🏊‍♀️🚴‍♀️🏃‍♀️

To everyone who believed in me, cheered me on, trained with me, and supported me through this journey. Thank you. 🤍

Huge shoutout to my coach @vivotroproject without Ced whooping my butt, my training would not have been the same 🙇🏻‍♀️
