Hearing everyone sing along and seeing the room completely in it together, that’s what we love about playing weddings. We have a stage and love the visual impact but some songs require us to join y’all on the floor and let it all out!

MAGWEST 2026 RECAP 🚀🎮✨

Had such an amazing time at @magwestofficial this year!! Every time I come, it feels like a giant family reunion — seeing all the homies again, catching up, jamming, and being surrounded by so many people who love music and games. 💜

But what made this year even more special was getting to play the MAIN STAGE with my band, @interstellar_soundscapes !! 🚀🌌

I worked really long and hard writing the arrangements and originals for this performance, and seeing everything finally come together on stage made it all worth it — especially when we played my original “Star Bound!” Seeing the crowd go WILD for something I wrote was such an amazing feeling. 🥹✨

Fun fact about “Star Bound” — I wrote that ENTIRE song in a single night after already being at the studio for 12 HOURS recording and working that day 💀😂 Sometimes inspiration really does hit at the craziest times! So seeing a crowd go wild for a song that came together like that made the moment even more special. 🥹✨

Huge shoutout to the homie Devin @kaldatora for co-writing the arrangements with me because we definitely COOKED up some crazy stuff 🔥 From all the metric modulations in Megalovania to the Last Surprise in “Last Surprise”… 🤣✨ Bet you never saw THAT coming!

I really hope we get to do this again — but now I’ve got my sights set on hopefully bringing Interstellar Soundscapes to MAGFest this coming January!! 👀🚀🤞

Thank you to EVERYONE who helped make this possible. All of my incredible band members who put so much work into bringing this music to life; JMR @jmr.vis for the visuals that elevated the entire performance; and Angelo @vibetography.shoots for the AMAZING performance photos — bro showed up unannounced and absolutely COOKED. 📸🔥

And a HUGE thank you to Gene @gene_dreyband for taking a chance on us and getting us onto the Main Stage this year. We genuinely wouldn’t have been able to do this without you and everyone at MAGWest. 🙏💜

What a weekend. What a show.

Until next time, MAGWest! 🚀✨🌌

Last weekend I had the honor of sitting in on congas and bongos with Los Veros, a Latin Jazz tribute to video game music! This was at @vgmcon in Minneapolis. Shout out to my bro on alt percussion and a big thank you to the many friends that made this all possible!

Music In Our Schools Month! @grammyu

From the moment I got my first saxophone my life changed forever! At the time I played it for fun, I enjoyed Jazz, my dad had played it in high school and I wanted to join band at school. Over the years what was once just for fun became one of my biggest passions. Playing the saxophone and music in general has taught me a lot about music but even more importantly about life. It has made me more creative, more spontaneous, more social, and most importantly I’ve connected with so many people who I’m able to call my friends and mentors.

As a teacher, every single time I’m teaching a student I think back to my lessons with @jyles1024 growing up! Im beyond grateful to have all the mentors I have had over the last 11 years and can’t thank them all enough for how they’ve shaped or impacted my life.

What is your earliest music memory?

San Jose to San Francisco — every single day this week.
From gigs in San Jose to @official_gdc in San Francisco, this week was nonstop music, friends, and unforgettable moments.

Had an absolute blast performing with the amazing Ouida @sfduchess , Bernard, Josh, and Mikey at San Jose Jazz New Works Fest. I was originally supposed to play on one song… but it turned into the entire set, and of course I was totally down. I mean, who would refuse playing with these incredible musicians?

It was also amazing being at Game Developers Conference, seeing old friends and making new ones. From the wild 250-person Video Game Jam Session at Savoy Tivoli, to hitting Yerba Buena Gardens for the GDC Lunch Series with the bros Super Soul Bros @supersoulbros — honestly a dream come true playing with them, especially at the biggest game developers conference in the world.

Played the San Jose State University Alumni Recognition Event with the bros @justin_firmeza Sal, and James — and apparently the The Doobie Brothers went to SJSU… so we actually got to meet them too!

We also celebrated Mario Day with the homies @orchkeystra and Phoebe at Guildhouse, playing Mario Kart 64 music live while people played the game. Always wanted to do that — bucket list moment checked off.

Also had the amazing opportunity to run sound for the American Choral Directors Association performance, which included the incredible Downey High School Epic Jazz Choir. Man were they epic — had me dancing behind the board… they took me to church!

After a long week of music, making friends, driving back and forth from San Jose to San Francisco, and performing with so many awesome people, it felt great to finally rest and spend the day relaxing in a garden with my love.

Thank you to everyone who made this GDC, San Jose Jazz, Mar10 Day, ACDA, and SJSU Recognition week so exciting and eventful. It kept me on my toes — but it was totally worth it.

Some finished One Piece Live Action season 2 between all this

Special guest appearance at the end…
you won’t believe who showed up 😳🎸🐶🎤
