Pretty damn excited to be out in the sun today. Getting in the ocean after Sept really turns into more of a mind game for me. Barrier to entry a bit tougher to overcome- but I think the rewards rise to match it. Launching shows for the club- really excited for what we’ve got coming. Around 10 shows live rn. Love it if you had a look. Dance music friends, lots to choose from. Halloween parties are flying, nye is coming soon. The Downbeat’s 2 year anniversary weekend (mid November has three bangers, launched the first one last night. Gonna be playing a Saturday party in November, launching in the next day or so and it’s a greasy one. Jamming tonight at @downbeat.nightclub.vic with a couple techno and house legends @hrdvsion and German Mike, and I’d love it if you can to hang. I’ll be there all night, not playing till late. German Mike on 9-10:30, Hrdvsion 10:30 -12, then I’ll hop on, prolly tag a bit for the finish. These two are serious selectors. Check the link in my bio for some more- downbeat linktree it’s right on top

Canada’s electronic music scene has long been defined by experimentation, from pioneering figures in dub techno and minimal to adventurous ambient, bass music, and live modular performance. Spanning multiple generations and approaches, these eight Canada-based artists reflect the breadth of that legacy while continuing to shape where electronic music goes next. Catch them at MUTEK Festival from August 25 to 30. We thank the @canada.council and the Department of @cdn.heritage for their support of Canadian artists.

TODAY! 🌞😌🪷 We're thrilled to be part of another ambient event in the park. Put on by the Garden City Electronic Music Society, they are the organization that's responsible for the last 10 years of Wonderment Festival as well as Neuztec and many other fantastic events. Hope to see some of you out there for this free, family friendly, and relaxing reset! 🌞😌🪷 A Soft Error is one which causes no direct permanent damage to the systems components, such that the unintended system behavior can be corrected with some form of reset. Come get reset today on the BC Day Holiday at Banfield Park as wife-husband duo efemme and hrdvsion perform under their ambient mantle Soft Error. They are also performing at Mutek this year after making waves under their Hot Sleepers moniker in recent years! Also performing this Monday are Manuel Chantre (Montreal), JenLi (Bali), and Zügellos. Come prepared for the sun, and please pack-it-in, pack-it-out so we can leave as light an environmental footprint as possible. This is a free all-ages event with a kids playground and the inner gorge swimming dock adjacent to the event area. Be mindful of kids and please leave your dogs at home. As with all CRD-area parks, no smoking / vaping in the park. If you are able, please bring a cash donation or give online to support the continuation of free events like these in the future. You can donate online through Canada Helps to the Garden City Electronic Music Society: https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/garden-city-electronic-music-society/ This event is supported by the Government of Canada, the Province of BC, the Capital Regional District and the City of Victoria. We also greatly appreciate the support of Long & McQuade, the Deep West Sound System crew, and Sunbelt Rentals for their help with sound and generators. Looking forward to an afternoon of ambient chillout at Banfield Park this today!

Hot Sleepers unites two performers for a rapid-fire exchange of clubby electro rhythms and bubbling acid energy. Inside a shared modular system, efemme and Hrdvsion build, loop, fracture, and restructure patterns in real time, pushing machine limits and exploring a dark, soulful sound shaped by the joyful spontaneity of human play. Expérience 5, August 29 at Esplanade Tranquille.

After 10 years, Creaked returns to Bristol’s @indielabelmkt this weekend during @bristolnewmusic at @bristol_beacon on April 25th. Come say hello if you’re around! We’ll have copies of @inuitpagoda’s latest album ‘Echo Chamber’, released in February. Drawing from post-rock, Jazz, progressive and ambient influences, the band crafts a sound that feels both physical and cerebral, nostalgic and forward-looking. Also available: @nic_as_well’s new opus. His 11-track album ‘Prone’ marks a bold new chapter and his most ambitious work to date, inviting listeners into a world of sound that is both innovative and deeply connected to the spirit of the dancefloor. @blopa__ will be DJing from 2 to 3pm, showcasing his musical universe. We’ll also bring along rarities and goodies from our artist roster such as @hrdvsion, @_owelle, @algebra_music, @isolatedlines, @oymusic among many others and plenty more to discover. With the kind support of @swissmusicexport
