💜🌸 HAPPY WORLD MENOPAUSE DAY, LADIES! 🌸💜

Yesterday, at our @bajanfusion FUSION WELLNESS: Move Through Menopause experience, we were reminded of something powerful: the importance of community.

We connected, learned, shared our experiences and realised that we don't have to navigate these changes alone. We also recognised the importance of continuing the conversation, supporting one another and seeking reliable information and professional guidance when needed.

🌸 So today, I encourage you to:
💜 Be kind to yourself and listen to your body.
💜 Ask questions and seek support without fear or shame.
💜 Share your experiences to help another woman feel less alone.
💜 Extend understanding and compassion to the women around you.

Whether you are approaching perimenopause, navigating menopause, living in postmenopause or simply learning so you can support another woman, there is always room to learn, grow and empower one another.

Thank you to every woman who showed up, participated and shared during our Fusion Wellness experience.

Thank you @fairmontroyalpavilion for your outstanding hospitality, continued support and fantastic and tasty breakfast experience.

Thank you @hrmab246 for collaborating with us in raising awareness.

Thank you to @mindfulmovement246 for your engaging and informative conversation.

Thank you team @bajanfusion for trusting me and helping me create a beautifully curated experience for women.

Let's keep this conversation going beyond one day and one event!

Interested in joining our Women's Wellness Whatsapp Community 💫🧠💪🏾. Message (246) 284-5426 and we will add you to the group.

We are stronger when we connect. We are empowered when we learn. And we thrive when we support one another. 🤝🏾💜🌸

🌸💜 FUSION WELLNESS: Move Through Menopause

✨ “It was a very calming and welcoming environment.”

✨ “It reminded us that we should really talk and communicate with each other.”

✨ “Community is important. We cannot do this by ourselves.”

These words capture the heart of Fusion Wellness. 💜

💜🌸As women, we often navigate so many changes while continuing to show up for our families, careers & communities. Having a safe space to ask questions, share experiences & learn from one another can make a meaningful difference.

A heartfelt thank you to Jasmine Evelyn (@mindfulmovement246) for sharing her knowledge & expertise, to everyone who joined us, & to all who helped make this experience possible.

Thank you @hrmab246 for collaborating with us & it was great to have some of your members experience.

And to the ladies who showed up ready to learn, move, connect & share—THANK YOU for trusting us with your time & experiences! 🥰🌸

The message is clear: Menopause may be a shared experience, but no woman should feel she has to navigate it alone.

💜 Let's keep talking.
🌸 Let's keep learning.
🤝🏾 Let's keep showing up for one another.

And as one of our ladies said, “It was so nice I had to do it twice!” 😉🙌🏾

Here's to more Fusion Wellness experiences, stronger connections & healthier, more empowered women!

💜🌸 FUSION WELLNESS: MOVE THROUGH MENOPAUSE — A SUCCESS! 🌸💜

What happens when you create a space for women to CONNECT, LEARN, SHARE and GROW together? ✨

You create an experience that reminds women that they are not alone! 🥰🤝🏾

Our latest Fusion Wellness experience at the beautiful Fairmont Royal Pavilion was a morning filled with meaningful conversations, practical insights, mindful movement, delicious breakfast and genuine sisterhood.

From learning more about perimenopause and menopause to understanding the importance of pelvic health, sharing personal experiences and making new connections, the ladies embraced the opportunity to invest in their well-being.

But don't just take our word for it… LISTEN TO THE LADIES! 💜🎤

🔥Over the past 2 days, I had the distinct privilege and honor of attending and also being a panelist at the Human Resource Management Association of Barbados People Development Conference hosted by @hrmab246 & @tishapeters under the theme Workforce 2030 Ready or Not.
-
Two of my biggest takeaways having attended the conference were as follows:

1. With AI, what differentiates you is no longer just having all the right answers. Rather, it is your empathy, presence, opinions and creativity that matters most now.

2. Secondly, the growth and development of your people is your number one responsibility, because people are the ones behind the processes.
-

I will certainly continue to take some time to reflect on all the golden nuggets that were shared.
-
During my panel discussion on Leading During Times of Uncertainty: AI, Gen Z and Organisational Change, I shared that the success and sustainability of organisations today is dependent upon leader's ability to embrace and incorporate each new upcoming generation. I also shared that when a generation's expectations are different from what an organisation has traditionally been accustomed to, it can sometimes be wrongly interpretted as being "difficult". However we must differentiate between being "different" and being "difficult"

The only way that innovation can truly occur is if we have persons who are courageous enough to ask the tough questions.
-
Im immensely grateful to the leadership team at HRMAB and every person who I would have met over the past 2 days.

💖 THINK PINK! 💗

Today marked the final day of the @hrmab246 Workforce 2030: Ready or Not? Conference, and it was wonderful to see the continued support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month! 🎀

Although work commitments prevented me from attending today’s sessions, I was happy to join the Networking & Cocktail Reception this evening to connect with new faces and reconnect with colleagues.

From all reports, it was another outstanding day of learning, sharing and growing in all things HR and People Development! 👏🏽

There is so much value in creating spaces where professionals can exchange ideas, strengthen relationships and collectively contribute to shaping the future of work.

Congratulations to @hrmab246 on bringing together such a passionate community of professionals! 💖

Giselle's story is a powerful reminder that awareness matters. Education matters. And having a safe community where women can ask questions and share experiences matters.

Sometimes, we are experiencing changes in our bodies and minds without understanding why. And sometimes, we simply need someone to say:
