Have you been to Warren Gateway lately?

This beautiful trailhead on the Joe Louis Greenway is a must see. Leona Medley, Executive Director of the Joe Louis Greenway Partnership, said it best, “Together, we've built more than a trail; we've built a legacy of hope and togetherness for generations to come."

In the spirit of our shared future, The Stories of Us offers 5 Talking Drum sculptures by artists @aliciavtattoos, @deceusart, Khary Mason, @tha_beezer and @hubertmasseymurals to spark conversation about who we are as a nation.

Come check it out!

We certainly know how to throw a party - fundraiser, complete with jazz music and so much great art collected by Hubert and Marquitta Massey, our hosts for Mint Masterpieces. And we are so grateful to the Masseys and all our paying guests for making the party more creative and warm. If you missed this beautiful event and want an invitation to the next one, please go to our website and sign up for our e-letter. The next big party will be just as artsy.

Thanks to everyone who bought a cookie or three from our pilot Creative Cookies fundraiser at Art in the Trees. And thank you to Minterns from the School at Marygrove - Genene, Azzure and Angelo - for developing this for Mint and spending a chilly Saturday volunteering to test it. Next time, we will bring hot tea!
We will debut a new cookies and art sticker later this week in the Mint Shop online as part of this effort, and hope for some new cookie paintings this summer. If you missed it, we will share more about thos partnership at our Mint Masterpieces ticketed fundraiser on May 2, hosted by Hubert and Marquitta Massey.
