Road-trip snack bag > actual luggage 😂

I genuinely thought I had left the most important thing behind—but plot twist: FOUND IT.

Andi packed it perfectly with Nick’s Sticks, Solely Mango, Thomas Cattle jerky, and the one snack I have literally never taken a road trip without: Rold Gold Pretzels.

Protein, zero-sugar options, a little nostalgia and one snack whose ingredients I simply choose not to look at. Balance, baby. 😂

This girl is on a mission to make the best bread in Idaho… and you’re coming along!

Lots of desert highways, lots of diesel, a questionable amount of caffeine, and a heart that just won’t stop chasing big things for our little bread shop. 🥖🩷

Can’t tell you what this trip is for just yet. Any guesses? Besides how much coffee it takes to fuel my enthusiasm for all things farming, agriculture, and really good bread. 😂

Part 2 of the Treasure Valley Local List is here 👀

This week: sourdough, clean eats + pantry favorites — all places you guys recommended, plus a few of my personal favorites marked with a 💗.

I’ve been trying to keep this list actually useful, not just “local for the sake of local.” So I’m looking for things like thoughtful sourcing, simple ingredients, sourdough, organic/local options, pasture-raised proteins, seed-oil-free choices where I can verify them, and businesses that are just doing food really well.

A few fit the crunchy criteria hard. 😂
A few are just solid local finds worth knowing about.

And as always, local doesn’t automatically mean organic, unsprayed or “clean” — so if something matters to you, ask the questions.
