Did you know that your body starts producing colostrum during pregnancy? ✨
Colostrum is the first milk your body produces. It’s rich in nutrients and antibodies to help support your baby’s first days 💛
For some pregnant people, collecting colostrum can be a helpful way to prepare for their feeding journey. Hand expressing may be recommended from 36 weeks of pregnancy (but check with your midwife or maternity provider first)
Our Hug Health Colostrum Collection Kit brings together colostrum collection, storage essentials and nipple care products in one handy kit.
Available online now 🙌

💛 FULLY BOOKED! | Pelvic Floor Awareness & Well-Being

What a lovely feeling to share, our Pelvic Floor Awareness & Well-Being workshop is now FULL! 🌿

Thank you to everyone who has booked a place. Louise from @hug_pelvic_physio and I are really looking forward to bringing you this afternoon of learning, gentle movement and exploration.

Pelvic floor wellbeing is about so much more than strengthening exercises. It includes bladder and bowel function, coordination, relaxation and understanding how this often-overlooked part of our body works in relationship with the rest of us.

This is a topic close to my heart. Living with a bowel condition has taught me just how much pelvic health can influence our everyday lives, and how valuable the right support can be.

I'm so pleased to see this interest in a broader conversation about pelvic floor wellbeing, and grateful to everyone who is helping us create space for it within our community. 💛

Saturday 24 October | Shelley Anglican Parish Hall

Keep an eye out for future workshops and opportunities to explore pelvic health, movement and wellbeing with us.

What happens when pelvic health physiotherapy meets yoga? 🌿

I’m really looking forward to offering this special afternoon alongside @hug_pelvic_physio Hug, combining her clinical expertise with gentle, yoga-based movement.

What comes to mind when you hear the words pelvic floor?

For many of us, it’s probably pelvic floor strengthening. But there’s so much more to pelvic floor wellbeing than strength alone. Learning how to relax, lengthen, coordinate and respond to what your body needs is just as important. 💛

Together, we’ll explore pelvic health through education, mindful movement and open conversation — in a safe, supportive and welcoming space.

🌸 Saturday 24 October
🕐 1:00–4:00pm
📍 Shelley Anglican Parish Hall
💰 $145

You don’t need to have a pelvic floor problem to attend. If you’re curious about understanding your body a little better, you’re very welcome.

🌿 Bookings open — link in bio.

If you know anything about me, you’ll know I strongly believe that one of the best business decisions you can make is to be really intentional about the people you surround yourself with.

Late last year, I had an idea: what if I created a membership community for health and fitness professionals built around exactly that?

Then I delayed. 😬
I had doubts.
I questioned myself.
I wondered whether anyone would actually want it.

And then, in May, I took the plunge and launched Impact HQ.

I’m VERY glad I did.

At our recent in-person event, over snacks and bubbles 🥂, we shared wins and challenges, talked about the events we’re collaborating on, organising and speaking at, and got stuck into the topic of women and wealth - investing, financial freedom and building security for the future.

But perhaps my favourite part was talking about how we can work together, from a place of trust, generosity and collaboration, rather than all operating in our own little silos.

These women are incredible. I’m honestly a little obsessed with them and the work they’re doing in the world.

Menopause GPs. Dietitians. Strength & conditioning coaches. Pelvic health physios. Women’s health practitioners.

Different expertise. Shared values. Big ambition.

We’re here to change the health and fitness industry for good…and I’m pretty excited about what happens when we do it together. 🫶

Interested in Impact HQ?

Send me a DM and let’s chat. x

💜HELP US HELP GEORGIE! 💜

We’re so excited to officially launch the Flex Physio Busselton Community Prize Draw to support beautiful Georgie and her family.

Georgie lives with Rett Syndrome, a rare neurological disorder that significantly impacts her movement, communication and independence. Her family is raising funds to get her to Queensland for an intensive therapy program, giving Georgie the opportunity to work on her skills through a concentrated block of specialised therapy.

And we’d love our community to help get her there. 🧡

Thanks to the generosity of some amazing local businesses and sponsors, we’ve put together a pretty epic wellness prize pack — and one lucky person is going to win the lot! 🙌

The prize includes goodies and vouchers from Flex Physio Busselton, Fitstop Busselton, The Good Egg, Hug Pelvic Physio, Hidden Beaute Studio and some incredibly generous anonymous sponsors. Swipe through to check it all out.

HOW TO ENTER:
Head to our Community Prize Draw page and fill out the entry form with your name, email and phone number. One entry per person. Alternatively, DM us with your name, email, and phone number.

🩷 This is a FREE community prize draw — no donation or purchase is required to enter. But the whole reason we’re doing this is to rally around Georgie, so if you’re in a position to donate, we would absolutely love you to!

Every contribution, big or small, helps Georgie and her family get closer to Queensland. Donations are completely optional and do not increase your chances of winning.

🌈 ENTER THE PRIZE DRAW:

One of the hardest parts of managing PMOS can be knowing who you’re actually supposed to see.

The answer? There may not be just one person.

PMOS can affect reproductive, hormonal, metabolic, psychological and physical health, so depending on your individual needs, your healthcare team might include a GP, gynaecologist, endocrinologist, dietitian, mental health professional, exercise physiologist, physiotherapist — or a combination of different professionals at different stages of your life.

You don’t need every professional on this list, and your team doesn’t need to look like anyone else’s.

Most importantly, you are at the centre of it.

You deserve to understand your care, ask questions, be involved in decisions and find healthcare professionals who listen to what matters to you.

💚 Save this post for when you’re trying to work out where to turn next.

Is there a healthcare profession you’d like us to explain in more detail?
