The Human Race is a family-owned business that’s been serving the community since 2002, with a legacy passed from father to daughter. Their philosophy starts with understanding how YOU move and helping you find shoes that fit your feet, your activities, and your goals.

Their fitting process includes an alignment assessment, treadmill video analysis, and a 3D foot scan to guide their recommendations. You get personal attention and an explanation of why certain shoes may work for you.

And the fitting assessment is INCLUDED with your shoe purchase! If you want the assessment on its own, it’s $35.

You don’t have to be training for a race to visit. This is for my daily walkers, my people working long shifts on their feet, and anyone looking for a more personalized shoe-shopping experience.

Run club recap this week: solid group came out for movement. We had walkers, runners, and joggers. CEP brought out their compression socks, sleeves, and shoes for us to test out and they were 💯. A big thank you to @humanracesports for supporting our run club so far this year and to the community for continuing to show up for each other, yourselves, and movement! #shopsmall #orlandpark #runclub

Several run club members raced in the 2026 Veterans Liberty walk / run in Orland park on Friday July 3. Our very own run club leader @ghermit_runner took 2nd overall for the race!
