I packed for a weekend. My luggage suggests I’m relocating. 😆 I spent the first 30 minutes of my drive into NYC questioning how much I’d packed, and the next hour contemplating self-acceptance. Quite a journey before I’d even crossed the NY line. There was a time I would have been embarrassed by this luggage cart. Felt the need to explain myself before anyone even asked. But I know myself. I love fashion. I like options. Part of it is wanting control, part is wanting to be prepared. And I love spontaneity… I just prefer to have several outfits available for it. Somewhere on that drive, I wondered why I needed an excuse for something that brings me joy. How many harmless little things about ourselves do we explain away, apologize for, or make fun of before anyone else gets the chance? I have plenty to work on, but I’m getting more comfortable letting some things simply be part of me. As for documenting my outfits exclusively in mirror selfies because I’m too embarrassed to ask someone to take my photo? Maybe I’ll tackle that next…. One personal breakthrough at a time 😆❤️🫶 #Overpacking #PersonalStyle #SelfAcceptance

We caught up with our friends Daniel Humm and Chef Dmitri Magi at Humm, their new West Village restaurant, to hear more about the vision behind the space and why they chose our dinnerware. We’ve worked with Daniel for over 20 years, making this project particularly special as he opens his first namesake restaurant in New York. Together, we developed 11 custom ceramic shapes in Toasted clay with Lightened Dune glaze, designed to complement Humm’s à la carte menu. Each piece features his intricately detailed signature logo on the bottom of the plate. Be sure to flip it over for a closer look! As one of New York’s buzziest restaurant openings of the year, Humm marks an exciting new chapter for Daniel, Chef Dmitri, and their team. We’re thrilled to be a part of it and to continue a collaboration that spans more than two decades. A big thank you to Daniel Humm and Chef Dmitri Magi for taking a seat at the table with us 🥂

We’ve had the pleasure of working with Chef Daniel Humm for years. So when Chef Humm came to us with his newest project, his first namesake restaurant, in New York’s West Village, it felt especially meaningful to be part of the opening. Humm is one of the most anticipated restaurant openings in New York this year, and we’re thrilled to help it come to life. We created 11 custom pieces for Humm, working closely with the team on shapes, proportions, and glaze colors to create dinnerware tailored to the menu. Each piece is finished with Humm’s custom logo for a signature finishing touch. 📹 Watch our pieces come to life in Humm’s kitchen and on the dining room floor.

Tried the new Daniel Humm restaurant in the West Village, and it’s seriously sexy. 🖤 The space is stunning, with different rooms, soaring ceilings, and beautifully curated decor. The food is really, really good, and if you love spicy flavors, you’re in for a treat. The cocktails deserve their own spotlight. The Martini was completely off the charts — classic, yet creative, with a special twist that made it unforgettable. Highly recommend for a date night. Next time, I’m looking forward to trying the dining room experience. Can’t wait to go back! 🍸

Having been a huge fan of Chef @danielhumm ’s @theclementebar project, I was so excited to discover HUMM. The moment I walked in, I immediately recognized the signature red tones and artistic language that I had fallen in love with at Clemente. The space is divided into three distinct areas: the bar, lounge, and main dining room. Every single details feels so sought after. From the hand-painted ceilings and intricate floor motifs to the dramatic curtains, soaring ceilings, and beautiful artwork, the interiors are so exquisite and an experience in themselves. And the food? Equally impressive. A playful reinvention of New York classics, from the caviar bagel to a nod to Eleven Madison Park’s iconic duck. I also loved seeing the Milk & Honey dessert, a favorite from Clemente inspired by Chef Humm’s childhood, make an appearance here. One of my favorite little details? The menus, each marked with the month and year in handwriting. Such a simple, personal touch that makes the experience feel like a moment in time. A beautiful reminder that great hospitality is as much about the details you remember as the food you eat. #HUMM #DanielHumm #WestVillage #NYCRestaurants

Humm. West Village. I don't even know how to explain how incredible this was. 50,000 people on the waitlist, and it makes absolute sense. If I were on death row right now, I think I'd like to order the duck au poivre as my last meal. Drinks, food, ambiance, vibes, everything absolutely perfect. I only have two complaints. First, the caviar bagel is very small (understandably) and people online have been posting it in a way that makes it look gigantic, which left my caviar dreams a bit underwhelmed. Second, how long is it gonna take until we manage to get another res? Ugh. Harry sent us the Harry special, and that was also great. I have no pictures. You just gotta trust me here. #nycfood #nyceats #nycrestaurant

Stopped by @hummrestaurant to try their cocktail list last week and found out they have their own Pilsner! Which was excellent along with the cocktails! Appreciate everyone for the excellent hospitality. And of course always great seeing @funkmogul_
