Today’s brunch:

Bacon & liver bowl + 1 scrambled egg cooked in bacon grease + 1 bone in beef short rib + black coffee & @beyourbestage collagen 💪🏼💪🏼

As a kid I couldn’t stand eating liver! 🤢 My mom tried tricking me by saying it was carne asada.🤣

I’ve been wanting to try organ meats for a while but I’ve been hesitant. Today, I decided to give liver another try after so many years and I LOVED it! 😋😍

•

Here’s how I cooked it:

I seasoned the liver with @redmondrealsalt and chopped garlic overnight. I removed the garlic, chopped 2 strips of bacon, cooked it, then added chopped liver to the pan. I cooked it for about 4-4 1/2 mins. Drained all the bacon grease and topped it with butter.

Will definitely be eating more liver from now on. 😋
