11 months, -33.2lbs. For a 5'0 person, that's progress! Again, I'm going to keep saying this: I am an extremely slow glp loser so I'm okay with this. Sometimes being patient with yourself is the best thing you can do and for example, I was super sick for over a week with some kind of congestion thing so did I workout last week? No. Can I get back to it this week? Absolutely. Am I at goal weight? No. I have a long way to go and that is just my journey. Do I have stretch marks? Yes. Cellulite? Who doesn't? Is my eating perfect? Nope but I am listening to my body and seeing what works for me. Do I still drink alcohol? Sure, in social settings but is that a setback? Nah - just pick it up the next day.

Life does wild things and all we can do is be flexible and not beat ourselves up over lack of progress. Everyday we wake up is progress - we just gotta keep going, moving, and trying.

Thanks for being on this journey with me, for working out with me, and for the support. If I wanna be a badass 80 year old, I gotta keep going! Hahaha. Let's do this together ❀️ πŸ’ͺ by @hungry.stine

I finally hit another milestone: -30lbs, 10 months. I have not been working out consistently so this is mostly a Glp loss (and probably muscle loss, tbr) and bc of a breakup at the end of June. I didn't "glow up" y'all- this is fighting massive mental and emotional load.... but also from being a fking workaholic.

I do realize that I need to take care of myself better and that's why I'm trying to get back in the gym - so I can balance, heal, and try to quit the workaholic tendencies. I also know that I have more weight to lose (until I hit my goal weight) but that building muscle in this stage is the most important thing I can do, along with knowing that working out will help me sleep better.

I'm proud of how far I've come bc I'm not the same person I was a year ago or even a few months ago but I do need to dig deeper in self care, one workout at a time.

Thanks for the support y'all- we are not going back! These tools have changed my life and I can't wait to be the best version of myself come 2027. Love ya! πŸ’–β€οΈβ€πŸ©Ήβœ¨οΈ by @hungry.stine

8 months, -22lbs, and almost to my halfway goal. The last 8 months have been tough but now that I'm in the last half of 2026, I want to make sure I lock inπŸ”’ and focus on building muscle/being more active.

According to most glp users, I'm known as a "slow loser" and that's okay. I think what ppl need to understand is when you lose weight, the body has to reset to its new normal. It wants to be your higher weight but you aren't there anymore and need to keep listening to your body and adjust.

I didn't want to lose weight fast bc I know how dangerous that could be when using these tools. I never do anything without research so it took me a long time to just start. I know that the different Tools have different impacts and what I've learned is that this one helps with hormone issues in addition to blood sugar. Being in my 40s and 5'0" is why I chose this method to help me.

The biggest thing is to really listen to my body and clue into the satiation queue. Knowing when to stop eating is important to losing weight. I haven't been perfect with my food intake but that's okay. One day at a time.

My life has been extremely crazy this year so I didn't fit in as much movement as I should've but I am going to change that for the last 6 months of the year so I can meet my goals by January 1st, 2027.

My mantra this year is to go back to my 2016 self (without bad decisions like partying) so I can move gracefully into a new decade of growth and love, for myself and my well-being. I need to be a little more selfish and a little more balanced in order to increase my wellness.

We don't have anything if we don't have our health so let's keep pushing together so we can be the biggest baddies in the next 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 years. πŸ’–πŸ’ͺ We got this. by @hungry.stine

Finished Start Strong with @forwardwithnoelle @noellebenepe and a whole bunch of awesome people πŸ’ͺ🏽πŸ’ͺ🏽πŸ’ͺ🏽🀘🏽🀘🏽🀘🏽πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½

These are my final results but there's so much more to be done. I actually gained muscle and +1lb so that tells me I need to continue to work on my sleep, nutrition and integrate more interval training.

So my takeaways:
1 - I feel stronger which was the point
2 - Body comp has improved
3 - Staying consistent, even when life happens will get you further
4 - Enjoy the process!
5 - Continue to visualize your goals and keep moving forward
6 - Continue to lift heavier

Final Measurements:
Waist: 34.25" (-1.25")
L.Waist: 38.25" (-0.75")
Chest: 41.5" (-0.50")
Butt: 41.5" (+0.5") πŸ‘πŸ”₯
Arms: 14" (0" but toned up)
L.Thigh: 23.75" (+0.25")
R.Thigh: 24.25" (+0.50")

I'm happy with my 4 weeks results and am going to do the 12 Week Build program by Noelle, too!

This next round:
- More sleep, more hydration
- Continue interval training
- Get outside more
- Achieve 10k Steps/day
- Might integrate IF and OMAD again
- Continue to lift heavier but Deload in the beginning of Build
- Stay animal based, less sugar, more protein

Update on -40x40:
So the weight thing is a small setback but I know if I stay consistent with my workout plan and nutrition, I know I will at least get close 🀞🏽but I am going to do everything I can to continue to recomp my body!

TLDR; I lost ~16lbs since July 2023. I still want to achieve 40x40 (losing 40lbs by the time I turn 40).

The context:
I was bloated, hot, drinking and eating terribly when I went to NYC mid-July last year. While my best friend was carrying her first born at 8 months, meanwhile, I just looked consistently pregnant. How did I get there? In short, a lot of stress, poor eating and sleeping habits and not enough movement. I was depressed bc of how stressed and busy I was. I lost a lot more hair than I let on. I maxed out or more at 180lbs. My chest was a heavy burden on my chest and it was hard to breathe sometimes.

I coordinated a wedding in August and it was in the 90s and I was so hot, stressed and I looked like all of it. The wedding went well but me? Exhausted and achey by demanding my body to do as much as possible.

I did start to lose weight, started moving a bit more before that wedding and but it was slow. I somehow managed to lose -5lbs by early September and that's when I began my last workout challenge where I ended up losing another -5lbs. You can read more about that on my last post.

So here we are, 2024 and about to embark on a 4 week workout challenge with Noelle Benepe/the Forward App again and I'm excited! I still have -24lbs to hit my 40lb goal (and 19 weeks to do so) but if my calculations are correct and I keep on pace of losing about -5lbs each month, I might actually reach my goal which would be thrilling.

I have my 3rd nutritionist appointment this week and will probably check in with her after the challenge, and in the coming months. Her advice to focus on healthy plates is a game changer for me.

Anyway, here's to the next 4 weeks of the Start Strong Challenge and to the extra 15 weeks I am going to try hard to master my mind, my will and care for my body and soul in this process. Stay tuned 🌟✨️ by @hungry.stine

I finished my second @forwardwithnoelle challenge this year and I feel FANTASTIC. The craziest thing was that I wasn't focused on weight loss but actually building strength, focusing on my movements, and staying consistent. I also saw my nutritionist the second week of the challenge and we talked about my mental space around food, physical movements and she encouraged me to eat different. I know I was leaning towards a heavier protein based diet but my nutritionist invited to me to reimagine my plate with 50% non-starchy veggies with a quarter or so protein and a quarter of starch veg or fat or maybe extra protein.

And guess what? I lost -5lbs, unintentionally! I spent time being consistent and making sure I focused on what was on my plate. I did cut down on added sugar, but I did eat some candy the week of Halloween. I didn't beat myself up for it and went and did my workout the next day.

I think this challenge helped me with my mental focus. There were days I was pushing through physical and mental exhaustion. I also got my covid booster during the third week and that almost took me out but my brain was stronger than my body so I made it through.

I got an email yesterday saying I was a week 3 challenge winner (there were 3 people chosen for each week, so 12 people total) and I was floored! That is not something I expected either bc I didn't post each day for praise, but I posted in the community for consistency. I also saw so many others pushing through and wanted to be right there with them.

I'm thankful and as always, I know I have a long way to go but that's okay. One day at a time!

Oh, and there is a grand prize $ but I'm sure I'm probably not going to win it - there's probably someone with an amazing transformation or crazy ass weight loss (which I applaud, btw) bc damn, we all did the thing! Regardless, I'm PROUD I stuck through it, I learned more about myself, I am more conscious about what I eat, and am definitely in a better headspace.

I've done other challenges but doing workouts through Noelle's app is accessible, challenging and encouraging.

PS: it definitely helps me when I watch shows like Physical 100, Siren, etc while working out πŸ’ͺ🏽 by @hungry.stine

I know this doesn't look like much but it's a jump off point for my health in 2023. I'm coming into this with a lot more grit and grace for myself and I completely enjoyed the process! I look forward to doing more @forwardwithnoelleapp programs!

I have some milestones ahead of me, one is by hoping to see progress by May 25th (my birthday) and another to continue on to August 1st, then to maintain afterwards and build STRENGTH!

I think slow progress is fine, in my case and what's more important to me was that I didn't have to track every calorie or food, that I feel stronger and that I adapted to changes in my schedule. I am happy with my progress and that I committed to each workout and rest day, and I made those workouts my priorities.

One big thing for me is that I injured my left ankle in early November and have been in pain ever since but I was finally be able to do some interval training on my treadmill last week so I am SO happy about that.

Here are my 6 weeks results:
2/20:
Weigh in: 166.0 (-2.6 lbs)
Waist: 33.75" (-1.75")
Lower Waist: 37.75" (-2")
Butt: 41" (No change)
R. Bicep: 13" (No change)
L. Bicep: 13" (No change)
R. Thigh: 24" (+1")
L. Thigh: 24" (+1")
Neck: 13" (-0.5")
Chest/back: 41" (-2.5")

I haven't been back to the gym yet bc I wanted to avoid the crowds and New Years Resolutioners lol but maybe I'll switch it up in the coming months! Cheers! by @hungry.stine
