Golf equipment prices are getting out of hand, even two simple fiberglass rods cost $20 each.

Instead of buying alignment sticks for my range session, I walked straight into the brush pile at the course, grabbed three perfectly straight sticks from mother nature, and set up my alignment for my 7-iron and driver.

When I was done, I put them right back in the woods for the next guy to use.

Golf is already expensive enough, save your money for the bar after the 18th hole.

Good Good Golf + Callaway were some Bad Bad Boys.

But this is nothing new. Normalization of DV is simply part of the bigger problem: representation and diversity aren't part of the game in golf. The old boys club got caught with their pants down. They let reality get into the marketing.

Oops! That's where a lot of your brands arbitrarily fake equality so you'll continue to keep shoveling money into their bank accounts.

When brands show you they don't have aligned values, stop spending your money. When they are screaming in your face that you don't belong, tell them you are listening.

When they make it obvious that there were not enough diverse decision makers across Good Good Golf and Callaway's content process to stop this in its tracks out of pure GALL and DISGUST (or they long ago learned to be silent for whatever reason)... make it obvious that you see beyond the singular ad to the MUCH larger problem.

The first time you see it isn't the first time it's happened.
