Random Life Update!!

The Lord has been faithful. I knew not what exactly what I was going to do after college but the Lord is always infinitely ahead of us in which I am grateful. He brought me to Greenville, South Carolina to be part of the 14th class of @greenvillefellows and thus far I am loving it.

I love how the Lord has answered the greatest prayer of mine. I would find a community of believers even after college going into the Real-world. Exactly what Greenville Fellows through Mitchell Road Church has provided. I have found another place that is coming closer to being called a home day by day. Outside of the beautiful Mountain scenery here, the people is what makes a place home and the ministry presence in Greenville especially through the Church and Fellows have done exactly that.

To everyone who might be wondering, I am doing well - not necessarily because where God has placed me but because (God is with me(us)--(Immanuel)). I can't wait to see how this new chapter unfolds as a Greenville Fellow.
During the Program as seen in the pictures, it was great to come back home to Montgomery. Where my Family is, where my RealTalk Family is, and where history is(-EJI + other places).

We just had to hop on here and share!

All of us have the underarm jiggle.

It’s normal, and you can choose to make it a big deal—or not.

I’ve decided to put my energy into the things I can control and the things that matter most to me—taking care of my health, getting stronger, making memories, and showing up for the people I love.

Comment “ME” if you’ve got it too. Let’s normalize it and move on with our lives. 😆

And share this with your bestie who needs the reminder too.

Five years ago, my best friend @hunter.eecoach and I decided we weren’t going to let midlife win. 💪

Here’s what I wish more women talked about in this season of life:
It’s not just about the weight.
It’s catching your reflection and not recognizing the woman staring back at you.
It’s avoiding photos at family gatherings.
It’s that 2PM crash when you used to power through entire days.
It’s the frustration of clothes feeling tight around your middle and the quiet grief of realizing your body doesn’t respond like it used to, no matter how “good” you’re being.

I’ll never forget the moment I knew something had to change.

Standing in my closet, trying to button jeans that fit six months earlier.
Feeling betrayed by a body I’d always taken care of.
Wondering if this was just… it.

But here’s what I learned that changed everything 👇
Midlife bodies need a different approach:
→ Not less food but the right fuel
→ Not longer workouts but smarter ones
→ Not perfection but consistency with grace

When we stopped fighting our bodies and started working with them, everything shifted.
The energy. The confidence. The way we felt in our skin again.

You can find yourself again.

If you’re ready to stop fighting a losing battle and start doing what actually works for midlife bodies…
