AI helped us raise the production value of RUINAS while keeping the filmmaking process independent and accessible.

Using tools like @higgsfield.ai , @claudeai and @elevenlabsio we were able to create VFX and creative workflows that would normally require much bigger budgets and production teams.

But this opens a bigger question:

Is AI replacing artists and filmmakers…
or is it becoming a powerful tool that saves time, reduces costs, and gives independent creators new possibilities?

This Saturday, during our live talk + Q&A, we’ll break down how some of these effects were made and open the debate about the future of AI in cinema.

🎬 Is the future of cinema already here?

This May 9 in Barcelona, we present Ruinas Artificiales: a film created with AI and a guerrilla spirit, exploring new ways of making cinema outside the traditional system.

The night starts with a warm-up + drinks + free popcorn 🍿, followed by a screening + talk + open discussion on how the film was made, what AI can (and can’t) do in cinema today, and where indie filmmaking might be heading.

From short film to feature vision…. Let’s twawk🎙
Recently, on @theclubwithlucas at @rce106.9fm I sat down with the team behind @garbage_rex -a short film currently in edit and already hitting the screening and festival circuits.
🎬
What stands out? Short films like this aren’t just stepping stones, they’re proof. Of what? Proof of story, tone and urgency. A way to take risks, build momentum & show the world a feature deserves to exist.
@garbage_rex by @hunyifilms does exactly that, tackling homelessness with honesty and edge, turning lived experience into something powerful and impossible to ignore.
🎬
Big respect to everyone involved…and big love to @andrewfunkspain of @homelessentrepreneur_official for pushing real impact beyond the screen…for years now.
🎬
Stories like this don’t just get made, folks…they get fought for over time. Catch what’s good in BCN, CAT, ESP & beyond, SAT at 11h on @theclubwithlucas ✊🏽

Hunyi Films is looking for serious investors interested in turning this award winning short film into a feature film.

Please contact us if you or anyone you know may be interested in this opportunity.
