Meet the man behind the movement. 🎧🏃‍♂️

Flying in from Kuala Lumpur, DJ Hush Mo brings his roots in house and electronic music to Sematan for a running experience unlike any other.

Also part of the movement behind @antzcolony , he brings that same energy, culture and community spirit to the road.

This 6 September, he won’t just be playing from the sidelines. He’ll be moving with the runners as part of Sarawak’s first-ever Running DJ experience.

Back to the place where it all changed.

After 14 years, I finally returned to Backyard Full Moon After Party, Koh Phangan.

This place officially closed its doors back in 2014, but the memories and lessons I gained here will stay with me forever.

Yes, I learned how to DJ properly from my brothers back in Kuala Lumpur. They built my foundation and taught me the right way from the beginning. But Backyard took me to another level. This was where I truly understood what it meant to play for a Full Moon after-party crowd. The underground sound. The journey. The energy. The patience. The art of reading people until sunrise.

I was incredibly lucky to learn from some of Thailand’s underground legends—DJ A, a true master, and DJ Boyonic, Backyard’s legendary resident DJ, an incredible mentor, and my brother. Watching them behind the decks taught me lessons that no DJ school or YouTube video could ever teach.

Backyard wasn’t just another venue. It became my second home.

It gave me lifelong friends, family, unforgettable nights, and memories that words will never be able to fully describe. No matter how much I write, it will never be enough to express how grateful I am to everyone who was part of this journey.

I’ll never forget my very first gig here.

I was so bloody nervous that I spent more than four hours walking in and out of Warm Up Bar, trying to calm myself down before my set. My heart was racing, and I honestly didn’t know if I was ready.

But once I stepped into the booth and the music started… everything changed.

The dancefloor came alive, the crowd connected, and somehow I managed to rock the place.

From that moment on… the rest became history.

Some places make you money.

Some places make you famous.

But very few places make you become the DJ you were meant to be.

For me, Backyard will always be that place.

Forever grateful.
Thank You..

Huge thanks to 𝗕𝗢𝗢𝗠 @johnlemmonn @kopihead @awanrun for the invite and connecting —bringing together different run clubs under one roof (and one route!) is something memang special & unik

From easy chats to strong strides, this was more than just a run—it’s community in motion. Glad to connect, sweat, and share the mileage, great scenic view with like-minded souls

DONT LAUGH! 🤣

But thanks @boombeverage for inviting and uniting various run community leaders on a Saturday morning for a good time. All of us came from different backgrounds and probably different training disciplines but one thing for sure, we are all working really hard in our own way for our communities.

Big thanks to everyone! 🫶🏻
Selamat Hari Raya and minta maaf kalau Ade yg tersinggung or tersiku 😅 but sorry saya lembab 😂
