Coming soon… Where Art Lives ✨ A night market at the Kings Residence with some of my favorite artists.

At @hwaconstruction, we believe construction is about creating spaces that inspire the way we live. Bringing artists into the homes we build gives that vision life.

Here’s a behind-the-scenes look as we prepare to showcase their work and celebrate the creativity, craftsmanship, and people bringing this collaboration to life. 🤍

Some days, the behind-the-scenes work looks like door knocking from neighborhood to neighborhood, squeezing in back-to-back calls, and finally having my first meal at 4 PM. 😂 It’s hard to capture all the running around that goes into building something but this part deserves a little screen time, too. #workhard #home #renovation #builder #la

A week well spent 🤠 A little bit of what caught my eye during LA Design Week.

Beautiful spaces, inspiring work, and even better people along the way.

Hired this guy for his first job about 10 years ago. Now he’s developing residential and commercial projects across Southern California, 15+ projects, over 25 employees, two markets with a third coming. @hwaconstruction

We sat down to talk business, and most of his questions weren’t about deals. They were about how you balance work and life, and how you stay committed and still show up as someone people want to follow.

That’s the part I keep sitting with. I’ve got great people around me right now. The job isn’t finding them anymore, it’s getting them to tap into what they’re actually capable of and want to see me win as much as I want to see them win.

Entrepreneurship conversations are the best way to learn any of this. Honestly, they’re what fuels me. There’s no book for it. The only way you learn is sitting across from someone who’s already done it. Good to know you’re not in it alone, because the mind is processing 24/7, it never turns off, and that’s a good thing and a bad thing. These meetups with growth-minded, successful people are ridiculously useful for everyone in the room.

Full circle moment,

In 2024 @hwaconstruction helped bring our studio to life, completing the entire thing in just 21 days.

Fast forward two years, and we’ve now partnered with @hwaconstruction working alongside their team on creative direction and helping bring their work to life through our lens.

A few moments from one of their most recent homes, designed and built by Here We Are Construction.

Love when full circle moments come together like this

Project Highlight: Inside the Kings Residence, a ground-up custom home by @hwaconstruction

For Here We Are Construction, designing and building a custom home means going beyond what can be selected from a catalog.

“At Kings, we wanted the craftsmanship to reveal itself slowly. The moulding, rift-cut white oak, hand-finished plaster and custom metalwork all have their own presence, but together they create a home that feels cohesive, intentional and entirely one of one.”
