Building a career in fashion is one thing. Building one that reflects who you are, where you come from and what you value is another.

That was at the heart of IN THE MAKING: The Next Generation of Fashion.

At Checked in., @iamkim4ni of @vivid.ave , @ffeika03 of @jentriatelier and @kounhyde of @dara5tudio joined moderator @jochelemiller to talk candidly about building their brands, finding opportunities and learning as they go.

Culture ran through it all, shaping their creativity, their connection to community and how each of them defines success.

That spirit is part of where we’re headed with The Next Destination: more shared knowledge, more real connections and fewer creatives having to figure it all out alone.

The work continues. We’re all still in the making.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and brought such thoughtful questions and energy to the room.

We called it Checked in. because every new destination begins with an arrival. ✈️

The night before our ninth Passport 2 Fashion runway, we gathered creatives, friends, partners and community at The Loom to launch The Next Destination: @divercity614 's next chapter.

For years, Passport 2 Fashion has created a space where culture is visible, people are celebrated and meaningful connections can begin. The Next Destination asks what becomes possible when those connections extend beyond a single event.

Thank you to everyone who entered the room, shared their perspective and helped us begin imagining where we can go together.

Runway reality: Hair, makeup, hustle, repeat!! ✨

Round two walking for @passport_2_fashion, wearing @dara5tudio for @kounhyde! What makes this show so special is the energy backstage—the support, the patience, and the pure joy everyone shares.

Sending the biggest love ❤️ to my beautiful friend @_aditi__bhatiya for creating this incredible platform.

Blessed to share the stage with @hay.de.n (so proud of you!), and so happy to have met some amazing new friends along the way @sumanthr0 @_bagheera_2020_ 🫶✨

The glam details:
💇‍♀️ Hair magic: perfectly styled curls by @beauty._by__shelby that tied the whole look together.
💋 Makeup perfection: by the amazing @lillystyledit ❤️
