Then I learned something that changed how I think about water. 🤯

Some things that can be in drinking water — like certain metals, PFAS in some areas, chemicals from chlorine, pesticides, or other substances — are things you can’t see, smell, or taste. 👀🚫 Whether they’re in your water depends on where your water comes from and the pipes in your home. That’s why looking clear doesn’t tell you everything.

That’s what made me get serious about filtration. I personally use two:

🥤 @clearly_filtered pitcher — I keep this in my fridge for everyday drinking water. It’s tested to reduce a wide range of contaminants, including lead, chlorine, and PFAS, without stripping out the good minerals my body actually needs.

🚰 @hydroviv under-sink filter — This one’s built into my kitchen sink itself. What I love is that it’s customized to my zip code and local water report, not a generic one-size-fits-all filter. So it’s targeting what’s actually likely to be in my water.

Together, they cover both my everyday sipping water and the water I cook with. ✅

Think about it — you drink water every day. 🥤 You cook with it. 🍳 You use it for coffee, tea, smoothies, and ice. ☕🧊

If there’s one thing you use over and over without thinking about it… it’s water.

If you’ve been waiting for a sign to upgrade your water… this is it. ✨

While many focus on food and facial care, the shower's impact is often overlooked. Heat, steam, and water create an ideal environment for absorption, allowing "fragrance" labeled products to seep plastics into the skin. Unfiltered water and plastic tools exacerbate the issue. Choosing fragrance-free products can help minimize exposure. If you experience skin issues, your shower routine may be the culprit. Explore our fragrance-free shower guide to build a healthier routine. Link in bio. #shampooreview #fragrancefree #cleanroutine #cleanbeauty #dryskin

Matt supplied and installed a new Toto toilet to replace a cracked one at one of our customers locations.

He also installed a Hydroviv under sink water filter for a different customers kitchen drinking water and ice maker.

Sunday project - Changing the @hydroviv water filter under my kitchen sink. If you buy this water filter, make sure to keep the tool to loosen and tighten the casing that holds the filter because you’re going to need it every time you change the filter. Makes it a lot easier to open and close a container. #Handyman #SundayProject #CleanWater

Tap water is trash. I use Hydroviv that tailors your filter based on your areas water test reports so it’s actually affective for what you need filtered.

If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by wellness, this is your reminder:
you don’t need to do everything at once.

When I started making changes for my family, I didn’t overhaul my kitchen in a weekend. I chose one swap, lived with it, and let it become normal — then I moved on to the next.

That’s how real change sticks.

Your kitchen doesn’t need to be perfect to be supportive.
It just needs to evolve with you, at a pace your life can actually hold.

Save this post and come back to it when you’re ready.
One drawer. One pan. One product. One habit.

This is how we make wellness work in real motherhood. 🤍🦋

The year was #2016

@hydroviv started the year building water filters in my apartment & donating them to families in Flint. That summer, started setting up booths on the #washingtondc farmers market scene, and I was delivering filters by bike.

Wild #entrepreneurship stories that rarely get told!

Comment “links” for a full round-up of holistic home swaps & additions we have LOVED! 🌱

While I by no means am a 100% non-toxic girly (sometimes you just gotta be realistic & do the best you can🤷🏽‍♀️), I do believe that being aware of what we put ONTO & INTO our bodies makes a significant impact on our overall health & wellbeing.
