Listening to: DANCE MUSIC
Event series

What happens to music written for dance once the performance is over? Often, memorable scores remain tied to the stage and are never heard outside of this context. Listening to: DANCE MUSIC invites composers to revisit these works and present them as standalone listening experiences.

Inspired by the intimacy of listening bars, each evening features two artists sharing newly reworked versions of their scores, alongside conversations about composition, collaboration and the journey from dance production to dedicated listening.
