Spring cleaning is afoot at PS1 🌷

This Saturday April 18th from 10am-2pm the Cloud House garage will be filled with pre-loved items for sale, from furniture and housewares to screenprinting materials and A/V equipment. There will even be some treasures from the days of PATV!

All items have served PS1 well, but need a new home (yours?!) to make room for more art for everyone everyday!

Cloud House, 538 S. Gilbert St.
(adjacent parking available)

All proceeds support future programming and events at PS1 ❤️

Public access, meet public space.

When Iowa City’s Public Access Television lost funding in 2019, the future looked bleak for community media.

That is, until video-loving community members stepped up.

Public Space One, a local nonprofit, agreed to become the new home for equipment, providing creators with access to video and audio gear and resources.

Their Media Arts Co-op now is home to 150 members, who make short documentaries, experimental films, music, community stories, and more.

Catch their work at a local screening of the Iowa City Video Zine, or tune in via YouTube!
