🍸 Behind every great cocktail is a story. 🍸

Some discovered bartending through family traditions. Others stumbled into it by chance and never looked back. Some thrive on creativity, constantly pushing flavour boundaries, while others are driven by the challenge of testing their skills against the very best.

What they all share is the same passion: a relentless pursuit of excellence and a love for the craft.

A huge congratulations to everyone who stepped up, shared their skills, and made this year's competition one to remember. 🏆👏

🏆🇬🇧 THE MOMENT IT BECAME REAL.

Fear. Shock. Pride. Gratitude.

What makes champions isn't confidence that you'll win. It's showing up, trusting your skills, and giving everything you've got when it matters most.

Today, these three talented professionals carry more than a title. They carry the honour of representing England on the international stage.

Join us in congratulating @stephen.raymundo, Alex, and @i_just_make_drinks as they prepare to take on the world! 👏🔥

Drop a 🇬🇧 in the comments to wish Team England luck and show your support for their journey to the world finals! 🏆

It’s Taurus season ♉️

It’s time to hang up the ice pick.

Moving to London nearly 2 and a half years ago was possibly the most terrifying thing I’ve ever done, but getting the job @swiftbars made it worth it. From working with ex-swifties up north and hearing of the famed Irish coffee, to getting to make it myself - it was like a strange creamy coffee pilgrimage to get here.

But, my time to twerk to ‘another day in Paradise’ by Phil Collins on booth 3 is coming to an end. Next week will be my last week, and I can’t thank the team, and the people who come through the door every day, enough for the last few years of Tom Foolery.

Swift is made special because of the people that work there. And it’s a wide network of people that are connected to that bar on Old Compton Street, and it was a pleasure to be a part of it for a time.

Ta ta, for now.

(I might not be able to fully bartend next week as I have tendonitis, but would love to see people and I might be able to do you a left handed ramos if you’re lucky 🍀)

Origins of Originality - Class of 2025 x Lyaness

A sneak peek at the delicious drinks our collective will be serving you lucky folk @lyanessbar on Monday March 30th

All of these have been inspired by the learnings from these 3 trips:

Whether it’s @ynyshirrestaurant for building around the best produce @thekitchin for hyper-seasonality or @rest_story for how to build in narrative and create relationships with suppliers, all these have had effect on the evolution of these drinks

And if you wish to get to understand that evolution then please join us at Lyaness from 3.30-4.30pm for a panel discussion + Q&A on the project

And if you want to taste them then join us for the takeover at Lyaness from 6-10pm

RSVP not required, all are drop ins so first come first serve till we run out, see you there! ❤️

We’re a week out for the Origins x Lyaness takeover 🍾

To remind you all - we have a panel discussion/Q&A from ourselves to get a deeper understanding of what this project was, what our 2025 collectives experienced and what the potential future of this project may be

Kicking off from 3.30-4.30pm

Following that we’ll have 4 sets of takeovers involving 8 of our collective to show the drinks they’ve created off the back of this project and give everyone an opportunity for a more intimate understanding of that creative process and how each of them has translated originality into the drinks for the night

Kicking off 6-10pm

We’re super excited to share what this project was and what it can be. So come one, come all, to experience originality from our 2025 collective ❤️

Origins of Originality x Lyaness

The class of Hendrick’s Gin’s inaugural Origins project, where our guests got 3, money can’t buy experiences, by getting up close and personal with 3 of the most creative restaurant teams in the UK (Ynyshir, Kitchin, Story) has very much graduated!

As we take a pause in 2026 to reevaluate what it hopefully looks like in 2027, we thought it best to give the trade an opportunity to come see what it’s all about and get a more intimate idea of the learnings our guests got from the chefs with a panel discussion.

Leading on to a takeover to experience the drinks created off the back of this. All hosted at one of the most key bars for innovation globally - Lyaness

If you want an opportunity to come see what was built, different perspectives on creativity and flavour and sample what something truly Original can be - join us on Monday 30th March

Panel discussion/Q&A - 3.30pm to 4.30pm
Origins Class of 2025 Takeover - 6pm to 10pm

We’ll see you there!
