I love Tuesdays! It’s a double-hitter: Bible study with the youth @iam24.7, then with @cohesion_clt. But this afternoon, these young men latched on to Latin, the Munus Triplex, as we continue to talk about what it means to be made for more. We talked about the role of the prophet, priest, and king, and being open to God bringing them together because they are anointed for MORE! And yes, we used THOSE terms!

The worst thing we can do with youth is try to act like they don’t want to learn. The best thing we can do is remember to challenge them because they can. The next generation is ready to learn and walk into what God has for them. I think the real question is: Are we ready to teach them? Are we ready for more?

In collaboration with @iam24.7 & @witnesschurchclt our youth kicked-off the summer by servicing #Charlotte families.

They really touched the community. They had sports, slime making, face painting, and pizza 🍕. Which is a recipe for a good time!

Showing love in action is what we are called to do! And our youth do it well!

First time on here in awhile. After graduation I’ve had a lot of time to reflect. God has given me community, love, and wisdom and I am truly blessed. May God be my peace and joy in this next season.

July kicked off our “Just Me, For Justice” summer experience. Designed to help students ages 13-18 connect their faith with the work of justice! As God calls us to do in Micah 6:8.

In collaboration with @witnesschurchclt, @iam24.7, and coach @mrgreghjackson , we took our youth to #JohnsonCSmithUniversity to learn more about the colleges rich history.

We had an amazing time connecting with our youth, showing them some hidden gems in the city. And we can’t wait until the next adventure!

Do you have a young person that you would like to get involved in this community?

Invite them to one of our Bible studies that take place on Sunday’s:

10AM at Witness Church located at 635 Pressley Rd F, Charlotte, NC 28217

Or

6:30PM with Cohesion located at 3700 Prosperity Church Rd.

Hope to meet you there!
