"I am less, now they talk more." @inked_amber shares her truth of becoming in this personally powerful moment. It was a pleasure to have her approach the mic for the first time with Canvas. I look forward her diving into her pool of expression and bringing out, "NEW S***" [inside joke]

Canvas Open Mic 🗣️🔥

On August 20th, the movement lands in Garland, Texas, for a night of pure artistry, heavy lyricism, and undeniable vibes. Hosted by narrative poet Amber Sims, this stage is all about deep storytelling, raw emotion, and high energy.

We’ve curated a powerhouse roster of artists ready to shift the room:
✨ Aliyah Trotter — Inviting us into an intimate, soulful conversation about transformation and personal rebirth.
🎵 BREA. — Bringing a smoke-and-velvet blend of R&B, hip-hop, and jazz storytelling.
✍️ Jordan Francis — Diving into the heavy realities of mental health to fight his way back to the light.
🗣️ Cin Da Poet — Delivering a masterclass in pure West Coast-to-Texas lyricism.
🔥 King Jody — Stepping into the Artist Spotlight to deliver straight enlightenment, not entertainment.

This isn't just an open mic—it's a space for community, connection, and real creativity. Pull up, tap into the frequency, and experience some of the region's finest creators up close and personal.

📍 WHERE: Into the Well Collective | 604 W. State St., Garland, TX 75040

Grateful is an understatement.
To whoever’s reading this… if you’re hesitant about the leap….
.
That’s fine. Do it anyways.

Your life could be DRAMATICALLY DIFFERENT in a year….

But you gotta take the leap.
.
I took the leap from Server to Personal trainer and Health Coach.
.
From living on my own to moving back home to build my business.
.
From in Person Coach to Online Coach.
.
From Fitness & Life Coach to Mindset and Personal Development Coach.
.
And now as I prepare to leap again, I can’t help but be ETERNALLY great full to Bonnie back 2019, who without a clear plan- just a vision…. She took a leap.
.
And this girl landed on her feet. So can you.

Fitness saved my life and if your story is anything like mine, it will save yours too.

Whether you’re just starting your fitness journey or have been on one for awhile, what was YOUR reason for starting !!!???

I’d love ❤️ to hear 👂🏾!!!!

I’ve been working like a busy little Bonnie Bee 🐝 to provide the tools and resources for women to step up and take their rightful place as 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗕𝗢𝗦𝗦 of their life. ⁣
⁣
💝February , much like Winter ❄️ Holidays can be anything but uplifting for many of us. ⁣
⁣
It can remind us that we are alone. ⁣
⁣
It can remind us of past love ❤️ , break ups 💔, ⁣
⁣
Or even the lack thereof. ⁣
⁣
⁣
My intention is to help rewrite whatever negative experiences you have programmed in your mind about love, even and SPECIFICALLY about the way 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗘 yourself. ⁣
⁣
⁣
So… I’ll be going live in about 2.5 hours to go over all the details of my latest MINI MASTERCLASS. ⁣
⁣
See you then my beautiful babes 🥰⁣

⁣
You didn’t get to where you are overnight so it’s insane to think your whole ass life can change within a week. ⁣
⁣
⁣
Yes , you can stop cycles by breaking patterns. ⁣
⁣
But it takes time for your external world to reflect the work you’ve done within…⁣
⁣
That doesn’t mean it’s not working. ⁣
⁣
⁣
You may have mastered your mindset and your emotions … that’s doesn’t mean your toxic ass job is all of a sudden gonna change bc you did…⁣
⁣
⁣
You may have changed your eating for a month, but your body needs time to adjust to the changes! ⁣
⁣
⁣
You may have read a book and listened to a podcast and LO AND BEHOLD you’re still triggered by what he did or she said…⁣
⁣
⁣
THIS DOESNT MEAN ITS NOT WORKING!!!! ⁣
⁣
⁣
Too often people give up on their passion project or personal development whether it be ⁣
⁣
-weightloss ⁣
- mindset work ⁣
- anger management ⁣
⁣
⁣
⁣
Whatever the new endeavor is, I need you to understand that Rome wasn’t built in a day. ⁣
⁣
⁣
And baby you are just as magnificent if not more, so for the love of God, ⁣
⁣
Please be patient with yourself and trust the process.

This was the story of my life for years and if it’s yours too… keep reading ⁣
⁣
⁣
A 𝙙𝙤𝙬𝙣𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙖𝙡 🌀 is when you get 𝗢𝗡𝗘 negative thought ⁣
⁣
And you don’t 𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗖𝗞 that thought at the door 🚪 ⁣
⁣
And that 𝗢𝗡𝗘 thought 💭 turns into a whole ass ⁣
⁣
WAVE 🌊 of ⁣
⁣
Negative thoughts, negative emotions ⁣
⁣
And if you don’t stop it negative actions ….⁣
⁣
⁣
And they all continue to feed back into each other causing the situation to go from 0 to 100 ⁣
⁣
𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗟 𝗘𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗖𝗞…⁣
⁣
⁣
If this sounds real familiar it’s probably bc you have a tendency to jump to the worst case scenario.⁣
⁣
⁣
This is not a mental disorder. ⁣
⁣
You don’t need meds for this. ⁣
⁣
You don’t need to self diagnose yourself with⁣
Anything and use it as a crutch…⁣
⁣

You are more than capable of stopping your downward spirals and here’s how ⁣

If you’re alone this holiday season, ⁣
⁣
Know that you are not the only one alone. ⁣
⁣
⁣
If you feel unloved this holiday season or forgetten about , I want you to know that you ARE loved and that you ARE NOT forgotten. ⁣
⁣
⁣
🌞🍁❄️💐Life is full of seasons. ⁣
⁣
⁣
☀️ Some seasons we are flourishing , happy, and things come with ease ⁣
⁣
⁣
😥Other seasons can be lonely , scary and uncertain. ⁣
⁣
⁣
But every season has a purpose. ⁣
⁣
The good ones give us strength to weather the cold ones. ⁣
⁣
The cold ones help us to remain grateful for those better days. ⁣
⁣
⁣
I may not know you personally but you’re my brother or sister in this family of humanity. ⁣
⁣
I love you. ⁣
⁣
I care about you. ⁣
⁣
And I’m wishing you a Merry Christmas, Happy Late Solstice, Happy Kwanzaa, and Happy Holidays . ⁣
