In @iamamycraddock business @thefittingservice the smartest decision-support tool isn’t a person on payroll, it’s Claude🤖

One of my favourite moments with Amy from @thefittingservice was hearing her talk about Claude like he’s a real member of the team… “he said this, he thinks that” 😂 (I’m still not convinced he doesn’t have a desk somewhere).

For Amy, AI isn’t there to replace intuition. It’s her stage gate.

Before she dives into a new idea, she runs it past Claude, checks Shopify analytics, then layers it with her own experience before deciding what to do next. That’s not outsourcing thinking, it’s slowing down bias.

From a psychology perspective, this is powerful. Founders are wired for optimism bias, action bias, and overconfidence in early ideas. AI introduces a deliberate pause…shifting thinking from reactive instinct to more structured reasoning.

From a UX perspective, it’s what great systems should do: not just present data, but turn it into a decision dashboard that makes trade-offs visible and choices easier to compare.

And Amy’s best insight? Entrepreneurship is like raising a child. Every stage feels like the hardest one because it’s unfamiliar. Just as you master one phase, another begins. The uncertainty doesn’t disappear, but neither does the growth.

The founders who thrive aren’t the ones with perfect answers. They’re the ones who build systems that help them think more clearly inside imperfect conditions.

Maybe that’s AI’s real role, not replacing human thinking, but sharpening it through to see the next right step. 💛

@iamamycraddock POV: The best marketing strategy isn’t always the most popular one.

One of the hardest parts of entrepreneurship is knowing when to follow the crowd… and when to trust your own instincts.

In this clip, @iamamycraddock @thefittingservice explains why she chose not to copy the same Instagram formats everyone else was using. Instead, she focused on WhatsApp groups and communities where trust already existed—and that’s where her business really began to grow.

Psychologically, this is no surprise. We place far greater weight on recommendations from people we know than on branded content. Word of mouth taps into social proof, trust and familiarity, three of the strongest drivers of human decision-making.

From a UX perspective, it’s a reminder that the best experiences meet people where they already are. Great entrepreneurs do the same. They don’t just follow channels—they understand behaviour.

The irony? Trends help you fit in. Entrepreneurship often rewards those who know when not to.

Build trust, not just reach. That’s what people remember. 💛

Thanks to @thefittingservice @iamamycraddock @aspireformore_ for this golden nugget: What if motherhood doesn’t slow you down…but changes the way you succeed? 💜

This incredible founder @iamamycraddock launched a specialist bra fitting service for women recovering from breast cancer while on maternity leave.

Her advice?

“There’s never a good time. The best time is now.”

Science shows that pregnancy and motherhood literally reshape the brain. Research has found changes in areas linked to empathy, planning, emotional intelligence and adaptability, helping mothers anticipate needs and solve problems more effectively.

At the same time, psychology tells us that having a strong sense of purpose increases resilience and persistence. When your why becomes bigger than your fear, taking risks feels less daunting.

As a UX psychologist, I see the same principle in great design. The most meaningful innovations rarely come from perfect conditions, they come from deeply understanding human needs and designing solutions that genuinely improve people’s lives.

Sometimes the greatest businesses aren’t born from having more time.
They’re born from having a greater purpose.

✨ Maybe there really is no “perfect time”just the moment you decide to begin.

This is your reminder that more is possible for you, when you see someone doing well take it as a sign it’s proof that it’s possible, when you see someone doing or having your dream job or car or life, it’s showing you it’s possible.

Let’s Support others, work together and cheer for each other without comparison

Let someone else’s success expand your belief not your doubt
