Una House que no es tuya. Una ciudad donde la House no conocía a nadie. And yet you walk in, alguien te llama por tu nombre, te sirven lo de siempre sin pedirlo y acabas bailando con gente que hace una hora eran desconocidos.

Eso no se diseña. Se construye noche a noche, persona a persona. Chris Glass lo hizo, junto a la Queen of Soho y un team que convirtió una dirección en la House a la que siempre vuelves.

Diez años después, seguimos llegando a la House.

Blessed are the builders. 🤍

Recently, I sat at a table full of Black women who are building, dreaming, and pushing forward in their own lanes, and for the first time in a long time, I felt community.
Building @borntoroamshop has taught me a lot about vision, faith, and endurance. It’s also taught me how isolating this journey can feel. Sitting in that table was a reminder that I’m not doing this alone. Builders need other builders, and I’m so grateful to have found mine.

Thank you, @taibeau for , for creating this space and for always thinking of me, making room for me, and for being my muse. Your heart for connecting and uplifting women is a gift.
i’m grateful to @sephora to @sohohouse @iamchrisglass for hosting us so beautifully. To @ashleynora_art for the stunning sculptures, WOW. YOU ARE A FORCE.

And to every woman at that table: I see you, I’m cheering for you, and I can’t wait to watch what we build together.

When Tai asked what we needed from the group, my answer was simple: pray for my stamina. Building takes everything you have, and some days the tank runs low. So I’m asking again: keep covering me in prayer for strength and endurance. And know that I’m praying the same over each of you. May we all have the stamina to keep building. 🙏🏾

Still becoming. Still building. Still blessed.

Building means believing in something long before anyone else can see it, so being in a room with women who understood what that takes without it ever needing to be explained felt incredibly powerful. I was deeply honored to be recognized as a Builder alongside each and every one of you.

Thank you @taibeau for bringing the Builders Dinner to life and gathering Black women entrepreneurs across generations and industries around one table 🙌🏽🔥 And on a personal note, thank you for forever championing what I’m building.

@Sephora, Celessa, Chris + @sohohouse, thank you for believing in + supporting Tai’s vision!

And @ashleynora_art, thank you for the beautiful hand-carved sculpture. I will forever treasure it and all that it represents ♥️💋

When I say “blurred lines” you say...

For us, blurring lines is about creating space for unexpected connections, DMCs, and moments that don’t need to fit neatly into a box.

We took the question to our BL family. I loved hearing everyone’s perspective. Because sometimes the most meaningful conversations happen when we blur lines between where are, want to be and are destined to become.

Still thinking about the conversations we had at @wellistweek . So many gems, so much perspective, and so much to keep carrying forward.

There is peace in a shifting mindset.

Growth asks us to expand, question what we thought we knew, and stay open to seeing things differently.

Wellness is action. Accountability is practice. Becoming is the work.

After being in so many rooms for two decades, I know when a room feels different.

And month after month, Blurred Lines has felt different to me.

This is the part I love most: watching people walk in as strangers, friends, friends of friends, colleagues, chosen family and seeing something soften once we are all actually together.

That is what I keep wanting to make more room for.

Less performance. More presence.

More curiosity. More care.

Thank you to everyone who has shown up, leaned in, and helped shape what Blurred Lines is becoming.
