POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Last weekend @inmotion.playgrounds did not disappoint! 🥳

Taking a couple of days out to surround myself with so much passion and creativity was just what I needed. ❤️ Huge love to the fantabulous hosts @hannahlauwalker and @helenanimate for bringing 10/10 energy to the stages all weekend.

Highlights roundup!

@glenkeaneprd ⭐️ Watching @claireonacloud interview her Dad was something really special. Just seeing the artist who brought so many of my childhood favourites to life and hearing his story was a joy!🧜‍♀️ I absolutely love his work! So much movement in those sketchy lines and the emotion in the room for the standing ovation for his latest work is something I won't forget. 👏

Norwich Art School Reunion: Catching up with my Norwich animation besties. Can't believe we are all still here making animation after 20 years!

Crafting with @catjohnstonnn & @neilrsimpson - gutted I didn't have time to animate under the camera but have been inspired to make my own setup at home to animate with my daughter. 🪿

I finally got to attend Eat My Shorts! A wonderful selection of films curated by @harriet.gillian and @mattsatonthecat and a brilliant Q&A with the animators.

Hearing from @hayleyakins from Motion Hatch with all the tips & tricks giving me a reminder I need to get back on THE HUGE business to do list. It's nice to know that I'm not alone in the business creative struggle.

Top after party as well 🎉 my little soda pop! The animation crowd knows how to have a good time!

I can't help but feel energised this week after being surrounded by such amazing talent. In an age of AI doom and gloom it's easy to forget that there are so many brilliant artists still out there, passionate about their craft and creating because they can! After many years off working on personal projects I've picked up a new sketchbook and am ready to get drawing again. 🎨

Trip to cardiff and ponty, we were knackered and it was too short, too short 🥲

But nevertheless, I felt very loved and happy to catch up and hear about the many varied journeys through life ❤️

What a fabulous time we had at @cardiffanimfest last week ❤️ We were a very happy bunch of Binos! @steffleeartist was honoured to be on a panel with the very talented @myinkyhead harriet.gillian @uglypumpkinseed and Lucile Bourliaud hosted by @helenbrunsdon. It was a delight chatting to all those looking to start their careers in animation at the @uk_screenskills roundtable event.

It was great to meet the team behind the festival @ellysdonovan @laurenormefilms and old Norwich pal @iamchristopherwright. They put together a wonderful event and programme!

The little Bino also had her first ever cinema experience, viewing the family shorts which she absolutely loved. If you missed the event the programme is still available online until the 12th May!
