Had an amazing time last night conducting a resistance band strength training session for Bon Secours Community Health Hub's Wednesday Women's Wellness Series.

I absolutely LOVED being in the presence of so many phenomenal ladies tonight!! What an awesome event!! Be sure to check out upcoming events at the Mustard Seed Place!!!

Thanks and appreciation to Director Phylita Bolden for inviting me to be a part!! And S/O to Bae, Michael Keith Watson Sr. for his help/support!!! It was great to see Dr. Angela Reddix (founder of The Mustard Seed Place), Leah Drake Stith, and Tonya Long-Perkins.

If you'd like Fitness Finesse w/Rae to conduct a fitness session, workshop, Lunch 'N Learn, coaching program, or Keynote speech for your company or organization's future event, inbox or DM me and let's discuss it!!

What Would Olivia Do? 🤔

Today ELG took a trip to the #VaBeach campus of TCC to support our Founder @iamdrangreddix as she spoke with fellow panelists at the Black Philanthropy and Giving in Hampton Roads Event 🎤. This event highlighted the tremendous support philanthropic efforts bring to nonprofits serving their communities. 👏🏾

While speaking, Dr. Reddix spoke about her grandmother (Olivia 🤱🏽) who raised her while her mom was in college. The woman Dr. Reddix credits to making a monumental impact on who she and ELG are today. She stated “why I give, why I do, is because I know Olivia would do that”. Dr. Reddix reminds us that philanthropy is often a seed planted by our family and experiences, that we have the opportunity to nurture and grow in our own communities to develop those around us. 🌇

During this Black Philanthropy Month 📆, we encourage you to help grow the communities around you. Donate to the organizations that your grandparents would’ve donated to. To the causes that align with your experiences and values. 💜The causes that drive the meaningful social and cultural change. Ask yourself, what would the Olivia in your life do? ✨

What an incredible evening we had at The Mustard Seed Place on Wed, Jul 17, 2024! Our Wednesday Women's Wellness Series - Healthy Cooking Class was a fantastic blend of fun, learning, and deliciousness. Women from all walks of life came together, ready to chop, sauté, and savor the flavors of healthy cooking.

Our talented chef led us through the preparation of mouthwatering, nutritious meals, sharing invaluable tips and tricks along the way. The energy was infectious as everyone bonded over their shared love for good food and wellness. Laughter filled the air as we perfected our culinary skills and enjoyed the fruits of our labor.

It was more than just a cooking class; it was a vibrant gathering of like-minded women, connecting and creating memories. A big thank you to everyone who joined us and made this event so special. We can't wait to see you at our next session!
